Programas governamentais regionais est\u00e3o investindo na educa\u00e7\u00e3o de produtores para pr\u00e1ticas agr\u00edcolas sustent\u00e1veis, regenerativas e org\u00e2nicas, ajudando a impulsionar a ado\u00e7\u00e3o de biofertilizantes, sa\u00fade vegetal e prote\u00e7\u00e3o biol\u00f3gica de cultivos.<\/p>\n<h2>Investimentos governamentais<\/h2>\n<p>Um projeto que exemplifica o investimento em sustentabilidade agr\u00edcola \u00e9 o Programa Global de M\u00e9dicos do Solo das Na\u00e7\u00f5es Unidas, no qual a Organiza\u00e7\u00e3o das Na\u00e7\u00f5es Unidas para a Alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o e a Agricultura (FAO) e sua Parceria Global para o Solo (GSP) est\u00e3o educando os agricultores do Sudeste Asi\u00e1tico sobre sa\u00fade do solo e seguran\u00e7a alimentar.<\/p>\n<p>Na Tail\u00e2ndia, em parceria com o GSP, o Departamento de Desenvolvimento Agr\u00edcola do governo tailand\u00eas realizou treinamento pr\u00e1tico para produtores rurais sobre manejo do solo em arrozais e produ\u00e7\u00e3o de arroz, abrindo caminho para novas pr\u00e1ticas agr\u00edcolas que utilizam bioprodutos.<\/p>\n<p>Na \u00cdndia, outro projeto liderado pelo Programa das Na\u00e7\u00f5es Unidas para o Desenvolvimento (PNUD), em parceria com o Governo da \u00cdndia e o Fundo Global para o Meio Ambiente (GEF), est\u00e1 sendo conduzido para melhorar o solo degradado nos estados indianos de Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh e Maharashtra, por meio do projeto \u201cGest\u00e3o sustent\u00e1vel e restaura\u00e7\u00e3o de paisagens degradadas para alcan\u00e7ar a Neutralidade da Degrada\u00e7\u00e3o da Terra (NDT) na \u00cdndia\u201d, iniciado em 2024 com previs\u00e3o de conclus\u00e3o em 2029.<\/p>\n<p>Este projeto faz parte do compromisso da \u00cdndia de restaurar 26 milh\u00f5es de hectares de solo at\u00e9 2030. Os produtores aprendem a usar produtos biol\u00f3gicos e tecnologia agr\u00edcola, como sensores de solo, para melhor gest\u00e3o da terra e restaura\u00e7\u00e3o do microbioma.<\/p>\n<p>Harsh Vardhan Bhagchandka, presidente da IPL Biologicals Limited, diz: \u201cO uso eficiente de biofertilizantes ajuda os agricultores a substituir as necessidades de fertilizantes, melhorar a sa\u00fade do solo, aumentar a absor\u00e7\u00e3o de nutrientes e dar \u00e0s planta\u00e7\u00f5es uma vantagem inicial em germina\u00e7\u00e3o e vigor \u2014 componentes essenciais da agricultura regenerativa\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Bhagchandka diz que os biofertilizantes mais usados pelos produtores indianos s\u00e3o riz\u00f3bio, azotobacter, azospirillum como fixadores de nitrog\u00eanio, micr\u00f3bios solubilizadores de fosfato e fungos micorr\u00edzicos.<\/p>\n<p>Al\u00e9m dos projetos de regenera\u00e7\u00e3o do solo, o Governo da \u00cdndia investiu no programa Mission Organic Value Chain Development for North Eastern Region (MOVCDENER) para os estados de Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim e Tripura.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs iniciativas do Governo da \u00cdndia, como o MOVCDENER, apoiam as pr\u00e1ticas de agricultura org\u00e2nica e biol\u00f3gica nos estados do Nordeste\u201d, Final Prajnanta, Chefe Comercial do Sudeste Asi\u00e1tico e Paquist\u00e3o da KingAgroot.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 medida que a demanda do consumidor por produtos org\u00e2nicos continua aumentando, o MOVCDENER ajudar\u00e1 os produtores a entrar no mercado de produtos org\u00e2nicos para aumentar a lucratividade e, ao mesmo tempo, regenerar o solo.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOs biopesticidas proporcionam um manejo ecol\u00f3gico de pragas e doen\u00e7as sem res\u00edduos nocivos, o que \u00e9 especialmente importante para culturas voltadas para a exporta\u00e7\u00e3o, como frutas e hortali\u00e7as\u201d, afirma Bhagchandka. \u201cA integra\u00e7\u00e3o desses produtos \u00e0s estrat\u00e9gias de manejo de culturas n\u00e3o s\u00f3 auxilia no manejo de res\u00edduos, como tamb\u00e9m previne o ac\u00famulo de resist\u00eancia e o ressurgimento de pragas. Sua crescente ado\u00e7\u00e3o se deve \u00e0 rela\u00e7\u00e3o custo-benef\u00edcio, \u00e0 compatibilidade com o manejo integrado de pragas e aos benef\u00edcios de longo prazo que oferecem \u00e0 produtividade do solo e \u00e0 agricultura sustent\u00e1vel.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Alguns dos biofungicidas mais adotados na \u00cdndia incluem: trichoderma spp., pseudomonas fluorescens e bacillus subtilis.<\/p>\n<p>As formula\u00e7\u00f5es de biopesticidas mais populares s\u00e3o baseadas em formula\u00e7\u00f5es de beauveria, metarhizium e verticillium para controle de insetos e pragas (pragas sugadoras, pragas de lepid\u00f3pteros, pragas do solo como larvas brancas e \u00e1caros) e doen\u00e7as (m\u00edldio, o\u00eddio, murcha de fusarium, queima das folhas, queima das bainhas e podrid\u00e3o dos p\u00e9s).<\/p>\n<p>Um programa semelhante ao MOVCDENER da \u00cdndia, presente no Vietn\u00e3, \u00e9 o Projeto de Desenvolvimento da Agricultura Org\u00e2nica (2020-2030). O programa apoia a ado\u00e7\u00e3o de pr\u00e1ticas de agricultura org\u00e2nica por produtores vietnamitas e os auxilia no acesso aos mercados de produtos org\u00e2nicos locais e internacionais.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs exporta\u00e7\u00f5es de alimentos org\u00e2nicos do Vietn\u00e3 est\u00e3o aumentando para atender \u00e0 crescente demanda mundial\u201d, afirma Prajnanta. \u201cA agricultura org\u00e2nica \u00e9 a mais comum, e muitas prov\u00edncias est\u00e3o incentivando a agricultura org\u00e2nica por meio de regulamenta\u00e7\u00f5es e iniciativas governamentais.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Para empresas biol\u00f3gicas que desejam entrar neste mercado, este projeto incentiva a colabora\u00e7\u00e3o entre o governo, produtores e empresas privadas.<\/p>\n<h2>Lacunas e desafios do mercado<\/h2>\n<p>\u00c0 medida que os produtores enfrentam as mudan\u00e7as clim\u00e1ticas e os custos de convers\u00e3o de pr\u00e1ticas agr\u00edcolas qu\u00edmicas para org\u00e2nicas ou regenerativas, h\u00e1 lacunas e desafios que ainda precisam que as empresas forne\u00e7am suporte e solu\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUma \u00e1rea onde ainda h\u00e1 uma lacuna \u00e9 a dos herbicidas biol\u00f3gicos\u201d, diz Bhagchandka. \u201cGlobalmente, a inova\u00e7\u00e3o nessa \u00e1rea est\u00e1 apenas come\u00e7ando, e pouqu\u00edssimas empresas est\u00e3o trabalhando nisso. At\u00e9 que os herbicidas biol\u00f3gicos se tornem amplamente dispon\u00edveis, o manejo de plantas daninhas pode ser apoiado por meio de ferramentas e pr\u00e1ticas integradas.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Um dos desafios para colocar bioherbicidas nas m\u00e3os dos produtores \u00e9 \u201ca comercializa\u00e7\u00e3o limitada devido ao baixo investimento e tecnologia (baixa estabilidade e fonte do ingrediente)\u201d, diz Prajnanta.<\/p>\n<p>Outros desafios no Sudeste Asi\u00e1tico incluem diferen\u00e7as regulat\u00f3rias entre os pa\u00edses da regi\u00e3o, com alguns processos de registro apenas no idioma do pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA regi\u00e3o do Sudeste Asi\u00e1tico enfrenta requisitos complexos de registro para produtos biol\u00f3gicos, o que os torna onerosos para pequenas empresas\u201d, afirma Prajnanta. \u201cEstruturas regulat\u00f3rias harmonizadas s\u00e3o necess\u00e1rias, especialmente em pa\u00edses como Mal\u00e1sia, Indon\u00e9sia, Filipinas e Tail\u00e2ndia.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Erros comuns a evitar em empresas biol\u00f3gicas<\/h2>\n<p>Processos de registro, barreiras lingu\u00edsticas, educa\u00e7\u00e3o de produtores e embalagem s\u00e3o desafios que as empresas biol\u00f3gicas enfrentar\u00e3o ao levar seus produtos ao mercado na \u00cdndia e nos pa\u00edses do Sudeste Asi\u00e1tico.<\/p>\n<p>Aqui est\u00e3o alguns outros erros comuns que Prajnanta v\u00ea empresas menores cometendo:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Subestimar a complexidade dos processos de registo<br \/>\n<\/strong>\u201cMuitas empresas enfrentam ambientes regulat\u00f3rios complexos, incluindo regulamenta\u00e7\u00f5es inconsistentes, longos processos de registro e estruturas pouco claras para produtos biol\u00f3gicos, o que leva a atrasos no mercado e aumento de custos\u201d, afirma Prajnanta.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Solu\u00e7\u00e3o:<\/strong> Invista em conhecimento das regulamenta\u00e7\u00f5es, trabalhe com organiza\u00e7\u00f5es de pesquisa contratadas que possuam conhecimento e contatos locais e compreenda a necessidade de um ponto de contato no pa\u00eds. Envolva-se proativamente com as autoridades governamentais locais para harmonizar os processos de registro de produtos de bioprote\u00e7\u00e3o de cultivos.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prometer demais os benef\u00edcios do produto em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0s necessidades do mercado<br \/>\n<\/strong>\u201cOs produtos biol\u00f3gicos para prote\u00e7\u00e3o de cultivos geralmente t\u00eam modos de a\u00e7\u00e3o mais complexos e efic\u00e1cia mais lenta em compara\u00e7\u00e3o com os pesticidas sint\u00e9ticos\u201d, diz Prajnanta. \u201c\u00c0s vezes, as empresas prometem resultados de efic\u00e1cia exagerados, algo que os biol\u00f3gicos n\u00e3o conseguem oferecer. Educa\u00e7\u00e3o eficaz e gerenciamento de expectativas s\u00e3o essenciais.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Solu\u00e7\u00e3o:<\/strong> Comunica\u00e7\u00e3o realista, educa\u00e7\u00e3o dos agricultores e dados para explicar os resultados esperados. Gerenciar as expectativas sobre o desempenho do produto em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 prote\u00e7\u00e3o sint\u00e9tica de cultivos. Desenvolver ou adaptar produtos de bioprote\u00e7\u00e3o para combater as principais pragas e doen\u00e7as espec\u00edficas de cada pa\u00eds e culturas-chave como arroz, palma de \u00f3leo (Indon\u00e9sia e Mal\u00e1sia), frutas (Tail\u00e2ndia, Vietn\u00e3 e Filipinas) e algod\u00e3o (\u00cdndia).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Grande investimento<\/strong><br \/>\n\u201cGrandes investimentos em tecnologia de produtos para prote\u00e7\u00e3o biol\u00f3gica de cultivos e servi\u00e7os de extens\u00e3o suficientes, como treinamento cont\u00ednuo para agricultores sobre seu uso e integra\u00e7\u00e3o com m\u00e9todos agr\u00edcolas, s\u00e3o necess\u00e1rios para uma ado\u00e7\u00e3o bem-sucedida\u201d, afirma Prajnanta. \u201cA longo prazo (mais de 10 anos), esse investimento significativo render\u00e1 um bom retorno sobre o investimento.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Solu\u00e7\u00e3o:<\/strong> Distribui\u00e7\u00e3o robusta, solu\u00e7\u00f5es adaptadas localmente e treinamento em aplica\u00e7\u00f5es. Ofere\u00e7a investimento de longo prazo em treinamento, demonstra\u00e7\u00f5es e suporte t\u00e9cnico para agricultores, a fim de aumentar a compreens\u00e3o e a confian\u00e7a das partes interessadas nos produtos de prote\u00e7\u00e3o biol\u00f3gica de cultivos. Alinhe as mensagens com a crescente demanda global e a demanda governamental por produtos agr\u00edcolas sustent\u00e1veis e com uso reduzido de produtos qu\u00edmicos.<\/p>\n<h2>Solu\u00e7\u00f5es Futuras<\/h2>\n<p>Para empresas biol\u00f3gicas que investem em pesquisa e desenvolvimento para superar desafios como prazo de validade, efic\u00e1cia e entrega, o futuro parece positivo. Com alguns produtos durando at\u00e9 tr\u00eas anos com desempenho consistente, produtores indianos e do Sudeste Asi\u00e1tico conseguem usar bioprodutos com seguran\u00e7a e sucesso.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOutra grande mudan\u00e7a \u00e9 o uso de cons\u00f3rcios microbianos, onde duas ou mais cepas ben\u00e9ficas s\u00e3o combinadas em um \u00fanico produto para atingir uma gama mais ampla de pragas e doen\u00e7as\u201d, diz Bhagchandka. \u201cEsses novos produtos est\u00e3o sendo projetados para serem mais concentrados, com maiores unidades formadoras de col\u00f4nias (UFCs), para que os agricultores possam usar doses menores sem perder a efic\u00e1cia. Formula\u00e7\u00f5es em p\u00f3 totalmente sol\u00favel tamb\u00e9m est\u00e3o surgindo, que podem ser aplicadas facilmente por meio de sistemas de irriga\u00e7\u00e3o por gotejamento e drones, economizando tempo e esfor\u00e7o.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 medida que os produtores puderem acessar mais produtos para apoiar iniciativas do governo regional em prol da agricultura org\u00e2nica, sustent\u00e1vel e regenerativa, a convers\u00e3o para novas pr\u00e1ticas agr\u00edcolas permanentes acontecer\u00e1.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCom iniciativas mais robustas de educa\u00e7\u00e3o para agricultores e pol\u00edticas governamentais de apoio, os produtos biol\u00f3gicos est\u00e3o, lenta mas seguramente, se tornando comuns\u201d, afirma Bhagchandka. \u201cMedidas pol\u00edticas que
