Em 2020, o governo emitiu um projeto de ordem, Banning of Insecticides Order 2020, que pro\u00edbe a importa\u00e7\u00e3o, fabrica\u00e7\u00e3o, venda, transporte, distribui\u00e7\u00e3o e uso de 27 pesticidas: acefato, atrazina, benfuracarbe, butacloro, captana, carbofurano, clorpirif\u00f3s, 2,4-D, deltametrina, dicofol, dimetoato, dinocap, diuron, malati\u00e3o, mancozebe, metomil, oxifluorfeno, pendimetalina, quinalfos e sulfosulfur\u00e3o. Um adendo foi aplicado posteriormente permitindo a fabrica\u00e7\u00e3o desses 27 pesticidas para fins de exporta\u00e7\u00e3o. Um projeto de ordem semelhante tamb\u00e9m foi emitido para o fungicida triciclazol e o inseticida buprofezina.<\/p>\n<p>Al\u00e9m disso, o Governo de Punjab ordenou a proibi\u00e7\u00e3o da venda e uso de nove agroqu\u00edmicos, visando proteger a qualidade do arroz em casca, com efeito imediato. A proibi\u00e7\u00e3o pro\u00edbe o pedido, a venda, o estoque, a distribui\u00e7\u00e3o e o uso de acefato, triazofos, tiametoxam, carbendazim, triciclazol, buprofezina, carbofurano, propiconazol e tiofanato met\u00edlico. Essas medidas podem acelerar a ado\u00e7\u00e3o de tecnologias mais novas e de pre\u00e7os mais altos no setor de prote\u00e7\u00e3o de cultivos, em benef\u00edcio do valor geral.<\/p>\n<p>A produ\u00e7\u00e3o de gr\u00e3os aliment\u00edcios na \u00cdndia dever\u00e1 cair na safra 2023\/24. Dentro desse per\u00edodo, a produ\u00e7\u00e3o de gr\u00e3os aliment\u00edcios da safra kharif (semeada no ver\u00e3o) dever\u00e1 diminuir em 11 trilh\u00f5es de toneladas, para 154,187 milh\u00f5es de toneladas, enquanto a produ\u00e7\u00e3o da safra rabi (semeada no inverno) dever\u00e1 cair em 1,71 trilh\u00e3o de toneladas, para 155,161 milh\u00f5es de toneladas. A produ\u00e7\u00e3o total de arroz dever\u00e1 diminuir em 8,81 trilh\u00f5es de toneladas na safra 2023\/24, totalizando 123,815 milh\u00f5es de toneladas, representando a primeira queda na produ\u00e7\u00e3o em 8 anos. No entanto, a produ\u00e7\u00e3o de trigo do pa\u00eds dever\u00e1 aumentar em 1,31 trilh\u00e3o de toneladas, atingindo 112,019 milh\u00f5es de toneladas. Em um esfor\u00e7o para superar o impasse com os agricultores em protesto, o governo indiano ofereceu pre\u00e7os de apoio garantidos para as safras de leguminosas, milho e algod\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>Segundo informa\u00e7\u00f5es, o governo prop\u00f4s contratos de cinco anos com um pre\u00e7o m\u00ednimo garantido para os agricultores que diversificarem suas culturas, incluindo feij\u00e3o-guandu, feij\u00e3o-preto, lentilha vermelha e milho, enquanto uma garantia de pre\u00e7o semelhante estaria sendo sugerida para os produtores de algod\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>Como resultado dos fatores acima, prev\u00ea-se que o valor do mercado indiano de prote\u00e7\u00e3o de cultivos cres\u00e7a a uma taxa m\u00e9dia anual de 4,91 trilh\u00f5es de rupias entre 2023 e 2028, atingindo 4,082 bilh\u00f5es de rupias.
