A Chromatin, sediada em Chicago, Illinois, EUA, desenvolveu uma abordagem para empilhamento de genes que usa o pr\u00f3prio DNA da planta para fornecer v\u00e1rios genes. A Syngenta obteve anteriormente direitos n\u00e3o exclusivos para uso dessa tecnologia de empilhamento em milho e soja em 2007.
