Sem assist\u00eancia do governo federal, Maggi argumentou que sem a renegocia\u00e7\u00e3o da d\u00edvida e uma extens\u00e3o dos prazos de pagamento, muitos produtores n\u00e3o conseguir\u00e3o investir em seus campos para o pr\u00f3ximo ano de comercializa\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>Maggi tamb\u00e9m ecoou as preocupa\u00e7\u00f5es dos agricultores em quest\u00f5es de pol\u00edtica nacional, juntando-se a eles na press\u00e3o pela liberaliza\u00e7\u00e3o de insumos importados, cortes na taxa de juros nacional e declarando a ferrugem asi\u00e1tica da soja como uma epidemia.<\/p>\n<p>Maggi culpou a crescente for\u00e7a da moeda brasileira, o Real, juntamente com as altas taxas de juros nacionais, por contribuir para as recentes perdas de rendimento e produ\u00e7\u00e3o, reduzindo os pre\u00e7os das commodities e prejudicando as finan\u00e7as dos agricultores.<\/p>\n<p>Rui Ottoni do Prado, presidente da Associa\u00e7\u00e3o dos Produtores de Soja de Mato Grosso, alertou que pelos mesmos motivos muitos produtores mato-grossenses est\u00e3o pensando em abandonar o neg\u00f3cio da soja.<\/p>\n<p>Essas decis\u00f5es precisar\u00e3o ser tomadas em breve. Para os agricultores que plantam variedades precoces de soja, o plantio j\u00e1 est\u00e1 em andamento.
