Especificamente, as melhorias expandiriam o papel do requerente durante o processo de consulta para registro de pesticidas sob o Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA).<\/p>\n<p>A CLA e seus membros destacaram v\u00e1rios problemas em como o atual processo de consulta da ESA \u00e9 conduzido, mais notavelmente que o processo \u00e9 frequentemente atrasado, n\u00e3o se baseia nos &quot;melhores dados cient\u00edficos e comerciais dispon\u00edveis&quot; e frequentemente exclui entidades com as informa\u00e7\u00f5es mais pertinentes, como registrantes de produtos de prote\u00e7\u00e3o de cultivos e sa\u00fade p\u00fablica. Esses problemas resultam em an\u00e1lises cient\u00edficas falhas pelos Servi\u00e7os e lit\u00edgios desnecess\u00e1rios que impedem fazendeiros e outros de usar produtos vitais de prote\u00e7\u00e3o de cultivos e outros produtos essenciais necess\u00e1rios para produzir alimentos e fibras da Am\u00e9rica e atender a outras necessidades p\u00fablicas.<\/p>\n<p>As melhorias solicitadas codificariam a orienta\u00e7\u00e3o j\u00e1 existente que \u00e9 frequentemente ignorada durante a consulta da ESA e fortaleceriam o papel dos requerentes al\u00e9m do que \u00e9 atualmente fornecido, mas de uma maneira totalmente consistente com, a ESA e os regulamentos de implementa\u00e7\u00e3o. A peti\u00e7\u00e3o ressalta a necessidade de mais estrutura na revis\u00e3o de pesticidas sob a ESA.
