No entanto, em 6 de maio, a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mfa.go.th\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Minist\u00e9rio das Rela\u00e7\u00f5es Exteriores da Tail\u00e2ndia<\/a> abandonou a proposta da OREC em meio a fortes preocupa\u00e7\u00f5es internacionais, particularmente das Filipinas e de organiza\u00e7\u00f5es internacionais como a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.adb.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Banco Asi\u00e1tico de Desenvolvimento<\/a> (ADB), que argumentou que tal cartel poderia elevar ainda mais os pre\u00e7os globais dos alimentos.<\/p>\n<p>Em vez disso, a Tail\u00e2ndia prop\u00f4s o restabelecimento do Conselho de Coopera\u00e7\u00e3o Comercial do Arroz (CRTC). O objetivo do CRTC \u00e9 fortalecer a coopera\u00e7\u00e3o entre os principais produtores e exportadores de arroz na transfer\u00eancia de tecnologia para aumentar a produtividade geral do arroz.
