Ditrich, que trabalha na pesquisa de biocat\u00e1lise da BASF, receber\u00e1 a \u201cMedalha Siegfried por trabalho inovador em qu\u00edmica de processos\u201d do j\u00fari internacional, que \u00e9 copresidido pelo Professor Jay Siegel, Universidade de Zurique<\/a>, e Dr. Hans-Rudolf Marti, Siegfried Ltd., compreende representantes da ind\u00fastria e da academia da Europa, EUA e \u00c1sia, entre eles o laureado com o Pr\u00eamio Nobel Professor Ryoji Noyori do Jap\u00e3o. O pr\u00eamio, com um valor de 10.000 francos su\u00ed\u00e7os, ser\u00e1 concedido no Simp\u00f3sio Siegfried em Zurique em 4 de setembro de 2008.<\/p>\n

O pr\u00eamio reconhece as conquistas da equipe de pesquisa de Ditrich no desenvolvimento de processos de produ\u00e7\u00e3o tecnicamente pratic\u00e1veis para mol\u00e9culas quirais, que desempenham um papel vital na produ\u00e7\u00e3o atual de produtos farmac\u00eauticos e protetores de cultivos.
