O mercado global de produtos de prote\u00e7\u00e3o de cultivos aumentou para $38,3 bilh\u00f5es em 2010, um aumento de 1,2% em rela\u00e7\u00e3o aos n\u00fameros do ano anterior de $37,8 bilh\u00f5es, de acordo com um relat\u00f3rio da Phillips McDougall<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As estimativas do relat\u00f3rio mostram que 23,51 TP3T das vendas de agroqu\u00edmicos em 2010 foram atribu\u00eddas a produtos patenteados, e 76,51 TP3T foram devido a produtos sem patente.<\/p>\n

Com base na an\u00e1lise de vendas da empresa, as empresas gen\u00e9ricas na verdade representam 30,11 TP3T do total de vendas, e 69,91 TP3T das vendas do setor podem ser atribu\u00eddas a empresas voltadas para P&D, n\u00e3o apenas com mol\u00e9culas patenteadas (23,51 TP3T), mas 46,41 TP3T das vendas de produtos s\u00e3o fora de patente e possuem status propriet\u00e1rio fora de patente ou gen\u00e9rico, de acordo com a Phillips McDougall.<\/p>\n

Este conjunto de dados indica que empresas orientadas por P&D est\u00e3o exercendo maior influ\u00eancia no setor gen\u00e9rico do mercado agroqu\u00edmico.<\/p>\n

As cinco maiores empresas de gen\u00e9ricos relataram v\u00e1rios graus de crescimento em 2010, com Makhteshim Agan<\/a> (MAI) liderando o grupo. A empresa registrou um crescimento de 6,81 TP3T em 2010, com vendas de $2,18 bilh\u00f5es, acima dos $2 bilh\u00f5es do ano anterior.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Cheminova<\/a> comprou o neg\u00f3cio de dimetoato da Isagro.
\u2022 Makhteshim adquiriu a empresa mexicana BravoAg e tamb\u00e9m assumiu a propriedade da empresa coreana JK Inc.
\u2022 F\u00f3sforo Unido<\/a> obtido DuPont<\/a>ativos de mancozeb n\u00e3o misturados e o distribuidor de agroqu\u00edmicos de arroz RiceCo, sediado nos EUA.<\/p>\n

O valor do glifosato continuou a cair em 2010. Um excesso de oferta de glifosato nos \u00faltimos dois anos causou uma queda nos pre\u00e7os, de acordo com a Phillips McDougall.<\/p>\n

Apesar dessa perda de valor, a participa\u00e7\u00e3o das vendas de produtos gen\u00e9ricos continua aumentando.<\/p>\n

Nove novos ingredientes ativos entraram no mercado em 2010. Atualmente, h\u00e1 37 ingredientes ativos em desenvolvimento, com introdu\u00e7\u00e3o prevista para os pr\u00f3ximos cinco anos.<\/p>\n

O mercado de patentes perdeu participa\u00e7\u00e3o em 2010, apesar do lan\u00e7amento de novos produtos, como o clorantraniliprole. No entanto, a expira\u00e7\u00e3o da patente da azoxistrobina impediu o crescimento.<\/p>\n

Em d\u00f3lares, a soma das vendas de produtos patenteados caiu 5,71 TP3T em 2010 e as de produtos patenteados sem patente ca\u00edram 4,51 TP3T. O valor do mercado de gen\u00e9ricos aumentou 7,71 TP3T, segundo a Phillips McDougall.<\/p>\n
