A pesquisa tamb\u00e9m entrevistou 6.000 consumidores nesses pa\u00edses.<\/p>\n<p>Markus Heldt, presidente da divis\u00e3o de Prote\u00e7\u00e3o de Cultivos da BASF, mostrou-se otimista em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0s opini\u00f5es expressas pelos agricultores sobre sua profiss\u00e3o e disse que eles sentiam uma responsabilidade em alimentar o mundo.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cQuando vi os resultados, fiquei animado e aliviado, porque mostram que os agricultores encaram seu trabalho como responsabilidade, mais do que como uma transa\u00e7\u00e3o comercial. Nos EUA, 13% disseram estar &quot;totalmente satisfeitos&quot;, 25% se descreveram como &quot;muito satisfeitos&quot;, enquanto 45% se declararam &quot;satisfeitos&quot;. O problema: mais de 80% dos consumidores afirmam respeitar os agricultores, embora estejam convencidos de que a sociedade em geral n\u00e3o o faz. &quot;Acho que a maioria de n\u00f3s ficou surpresa com essa forte correla\u00e7\u00e3o e com o alto n\u00edvel de respeito pessoal que os consumidores t\u00eam pelos agricultores em todos os pa\u00edses pesquisados&quot;, disse Marcinkowski.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 A maioria dos consumidores afirma que n\u00e3o pagaria pre\u00e7os mais altos por alimentos produzidos de forma ecologicamente correta, mas os agricultores acreditam que deveriam estar dispostos a pagar mais por esses produtos. Os consumidores americanos e alem\u00e3es, com 53%, foram os mais propensos a dizer que pagariam mais, embora o comportamento no ponto de venda n\u00e3o esteja relacionado. &quot;As pessoas tendem a dizer uma coisa, mas na realidade tomam uma decis\u00e3o diferente&quot;, disse Harald Hasselmann, diretor administrativo da Synovate.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Quarenta por cento dos agricultores dos EUA \u2014 a menor porcentagem do grupo \u2014 disseram que deveriam se concentrar mais nos consumidores e se esfor\u00e7ar mais para atender \u00e0s suas necessidades, enquanto 44% disse que as preocupa\u00e7\u00f5es dos consumidores s\u00e3o leg\u00edtimas.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Tanto agricultores quanto consumidores acreditam que os subs\u00eddios ajudam a manter os pre\u00e7os dos alimentos baixos.
