A fabricante su\u00ed\u00e7a de sementes e produtos qu\u00edmicos Syngenta est\u00e1 se unindo \u00e0 Novozymes, empresa dinamarquesa de biotecnologia, com o objetivo de entrar em novos mercados com um fertilizante que aumenta a solubilidade do fosfato no solo.<\/p>\n

Sob os termos do acordo global, a Syngenta vender\u00e1 a tecnologia JumpStart da Novozymes \u2013 um inoculante de fosfato que cresce ao longo da raiz, disponibilizando mais fosfato para a planta.<\/p>\n

As empresas desenvolver\u00e3o conjuntamente o mercado para JumpStart em combina\u00e7\u00e3o com o portf\u00f3lio Seed Care da Syngenta em culturas, incluindo cereais e milho. O acordo estende o potencial mercado geogr\u00e1fico mundial para JumpStart, que atualmente \u00e9 vendido principalmente na Am\u00e9rica do Norte.<\/p>\n

O produto \u00e9 baseado no fungo Penicillium bilaii, que aumenta a absor\u00e7\u00e3o de fosfato na planta atrav\u00e9s do sistema radicular. A Syngenta estima o potencial de mercado para tecnologias aplicadas em sementes para aumentar a efici\u00eancia de fosfato em mais de $100 milh\u00f5es.<\/p>\n
