Bayer CropScience<\/a> conceder\u00e1 uma bolsa de estudos integral, incluindo mensalidades e custos de viagem, para participa\u00e7\u00e3o na Academia Europeia de Melhoramento de Plantas de 2011, de acordo com um comunicado \u00e0 imprensa.<\/p>\n

Com a bolsa, a academia oferece um m\u00e1ximo de 20 participantes em um curso de desenvolvimento profissional em melhoramento avan\u00e7ado de plantas, projetado e gerenciado pelo Seed Biotechnology Center na UC Davis, Calif\u00f3rnia. No final do curso de dois anos, os participantes ter\u00e3o as habilidades e o know-how para come\u00e7ar uma carreira como melhorista profissional de plantas na ind\u00fastria de sementes, de acordo com o comunicado.<\/p>\n

A European Plant Breeding Academy conta com esfor\u00e7os combinados da ind\u00fastria de parceiros-chave em cada pa\u00eds que hospeda um m\u00f3dulo incluindo v\u00e1rias associa\u00e7\u00f5es. O primeiro programa da academia foi oferecido em 2006 e desde ent\u00e3o atraiu 66 participantes de 17 pa\u00edses e mais de 40 organiza\u00e7\u00f5es. Envolve seis m\u00f3dulos intensivos de uma semana ao longo de um per\u00edodo de dois anos. O programa de 2011\/12 come\u00e7a em outubro de 2011 com m\u00f3dulos a serem realizados na B\u00e9lgica, Fran\u00e7a, Alemanha, Holanda, Espanha e EUA, de acordo com a Bayer CropScience.<\/p>\n
