A Bayer CropScience firmou um acordo que lhe concede direitos exclusivos de licen\u00e7a mundial para o programa de melhoramento de arroz da empresa brasileira Fazenda Ana Paula, especializada em melhoramento de arroz h\u00edbrido, de acordo com um comunicado da empresa.<\/p>\n

Este acordo permitir\u00e1 que a Bayer CropScience aprimore ainda mais sua capacidade de melhoramento e desenvolvimento de arroz h\u00edbrido para o Brasil e expanda ainda mais seus neg\u00f3cios globais de arroz h\u00edbrido.<\/p>\n

Com este acordo, a Bayer CropScience ganha acesso ao germoplasma de arroz exclusivo desenvolvido pela Fazenda Ana Paula, fortalecendo seu programa de melhoramento h\u00edbrido existente e sua presen\u00e7a geogr\u00e1fica em n\u00edvel global.<\/p>\n

\u201cO arroz h\u00edbrido desempenhar\u00e1 um papel importante para atender \u00e0 necessidade de aumento da produ\u00e7\u00e3o global de arroz, demandada por mais da metade da popula\u00e7\u00e3o mundial\u201d, afirmou o Dr. Mathias Kremer, chefe da unidade de neg\u00f3cios BioScience da Bayer CropScience, em um comunicado. \u201cJ\u00e1 somos l\u00edderes mundiais em sementes de arroz h\u00edbrido com a Arize e pretendemos aprimorar ainda mais nossos h\u00edbridos \u2013 com gen\u00e9tica superior e uma opera\u00e7\u00e3o de sementes h\u00edbridas de classe mundial.\u201d<\/p>\n

A Bayer CropScience tamb\u00e9m tem presen\u00e7a de lideran\u00e7a com seus defensivos agr\u00edcolas para arroz. Com este acordo, a Bayer CropScience poder\u00e1 enfrentar ainda mais os desafios da produ\u00e7\u00e3o de arroz por meio de solu\u00e7\u00f5es personalizadas, sustent\u00e1veis e de alto desempenho, da semente \u00e0 prateleira, de acordo com a empresa.<\/p>\n

\u201cA Fazenda Ana Paula iniciou o programa de melhoramento gen\u00e9tico de arroz h\u00edbrido em 2000. Trouxemos para o Brasil e o Uruguai uma equipe de especialistas da China para nos ajudar a conduzir o projeto de pesquisa\u201d, disse Haroldo Pimentel Stumpf, Chefe da Divis\u00e3o de Pesquisa da Fazenda Ana Paula, em um comunicado. \u201cEstamos muito orgulhosos dos resultados alcan\u00e7ados e acreditamos firmemente que este acordo com a Bayer levar\u00e1 o programa a um novo patamar.\u201d<\/p>\n
