O Intacta RR2 Pro \u00e9 o primeiro produto biotecnol\u00f3gico desenvolvido pela Monsanto especificamente para um mercado fora dos EUA.<\/p>\n<p>A gigante do agroneg\u00f3cio dos EUA tamb\u00e9m disse que sua aprova\u00e7\u00e3o de importa\u00e7\u00e3o da China para uso em alimentos, ra\u00e7\u00f5es e processamento do produto est\u00e1 atualmente pendente. A China compra cerca de 60% do total de soja que \u00e9 comercializada globalmente. Cerca de 60% do total de importa\u00e7\u00f5es de soja da China s\u00e3o produzidas por agricultores brasileiros e argentinos.<\/p>\n<p>Em 2012, 500 agricultores no Brasil testaram a soja Intacta 2 RR2 Pro em testes de campo que a Monsanto chama de \u201cGround Breakers\u201d. O programa permite que os agricultores ganhem experi\u00eancia em primeira m\u00e3o com produtos de pipeline sob condi\u00e7\u00f5es de plantio em escala comercial administradas. A Monsanto disse que os campos plantados com variedades Intacta 2 RR2 Pro \u201cobtiveram uma vantagem de produtividade, quando comparados com os produtos comerciais atuais, de 6,59 sacas por hectare \u2013 equivalente a 5,88 bushels por acre\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>A empresa citou um agricultor brasileiro, Paulo Roberto Fiatikoski, da cidade de Piracanjuba, no Estado de Goi\u00e1s, que participou do teste na fazenda: \u201cNa minha fazenda, o campo Intacta 2 RR2 Pro atingiu uma produtividade de 65,8 sacas por hectare contra 55,2 sacas por hectare registradas com variedades Roundup Ready 1. \u00c9 uma diferen\u00e7a enorme.
