A Monsanto Co., sediada nos EUA, anunciou a nomea\u00e7\u00e3o de Gregory H. Boyce para o conselho da empresa, elevando o n\u00famero de membros do conselho para 12, com 11 diretores independentes.<\/p>\n

Boyce, o presidente e CEO da Peabody Energy, entrou para a empresa em 2003 como presidente e diretor de opera\u00e7\u00f5es. Ele assumiu o papel de presidente e CEO em 2006 e se tornou presidente no ano seguinte.<\/p>\n

Antes de se juntar \u00e0 Peabody, Boyce atuou como CEO de energia para a empresa de minera\u00e7\u00e3o internacional Rio Tinto, sediada no Reino Unido, com responsabilidade por um portf\u00f3lio mundial de carv\u00e3o e ur\u00e2nio.
