Isso fornecer\u00e1 prote\u00e7\u00e3o mais ampla na planta contra pragas de lepid\u00f3pteros, bem como melhorar\u00e1 a sustentabilidade da tecnologia em compara\u00e7\u00e3o com outras tecnologias de soja que est\u00e3o sendo avan\u00e7adas no mercado com apenas uma prote\u00edna Bt.<\/p>\n<p>Uma extensa pesquisa mostrou que a caracter\u00edstica da empresa fornece ampla prote\u00e7\u00e3o na planta contra pragas de lepid\u00f3pteros, como a lagarta-do-cartucho (Spodoptera frugiperda), a lagarta-medideira (Pseudoplusia includens), a lagarta-da-soja (Anticarsia gemmatalis), a lagarta-da-soja (Helicoverpa gelotopoeon) e a lagarta-da-brota-do-tabaco (Heliothis virescens), bem como a Rachiplusia nu.<\/p>\n<p>Submetido \u00e0s autoridades regulat\u00f3rias para aprova\u00e7\u00e3o em pa\u00edses-chave da soja como parte do processo de autoriza\u00e7\u00e3o global, o tra\u00e7o \u00e9 inicialmente direcionado para comercializa\u00e7\u00e3o na Am\u00e9rica do Sul. O Brasil representa a maior oportunidade onde a press\u00e3o de insetos resulta em perda significativa de rendimento a cada ano. Os produtores de soja da Argentina tamb\u00e9m enfrentam impacto significativo em seus rendimentos de soja devido a insetos.
