Ela ser\u00e1 respons\u00e1vel por iniciar, dirigir e executar todas as pesquisas cient\u00edficas pr\u00e9-cl\u00ednicas, planejar e executar pesquisas laboratoriais, participar de pedidos de patentes e contribuir para literatura cient\u00edfica e confer\u00eancias. Gunawardena tamb\u00e9m ser\u00e1 respons\u00e1vel pela gest\u00e3o e desenvolvimento profissional do grupo de pesquisa. <br \/> &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Brian Aevermann, MS, e Tiffany Hsu foram nomeados para o Departamento de Biologia Celular como Associado de Pesquisa S\u00eanior e Associado de Pesquisa, respectivamente.
