Embora ainda n\u00e3o tenha havido uma decis\u00e3o legislativa, os produtores amea\u00e7am entrar em greve contra a lei original e lan\u00e7ar protestos com comboios de tratores semelhantes aos realizados recentemente na Argentina contra impostos considerados injustos pelos produtores.<\/p>\n

Pela nova lei, a pulveriza\u00e7\u00e3o de herbicidas seria limitada a pelo menos 90 metros de cursos d'\u00e1gua, p\u00e2ntanos, estradas e \u00e1reas povoadas. Segundo os produtores, a regra mais rigorosa seria a elabora\u00e7\u00e3o de um relat\u00f3rio de impacto ambiental, que deve ser aprovado antes da pulveriza\u00e7\u00e3o. A notifica\u00e7\u00e3o por escrito sobre o uso de defensivos agr\u00edcolas tamb\u00e9m seria exigida aos moradores, juntamente com an\u00fancios em emissoras de r\u00e1dio e televis\u00e3o locais com pelo menos 24 horas de anteced\u00eancia. Al\u00e9m disso, o decreto exigiria a presen\u00e7a de um funcion\u00e1rio do servi\u00e7o de sa\u00fade e qualidade agr\u00edcola no momento da pulveriza\u00e7\u00e3o, \u00e0s custas do agricultor.<\/p>\n
