Seu neg\u00f3cio de Sementes e Gen\u00f4mica foi respons\u00e1vel por $1,4 bilh\u00e3o em vendas, acima de $1,2 bilh\u00e3o um ano atr\u00e1s, enquanto seu neg\u00f3cio de Produtividade Agr\u00edcola \u2014 que compreende seus produtos de prote\u00e7\u00e3o de cultivos e herbicidas para gramados e jardins \u2014 registrou vendas de $1,3 bilh\u00e3o, acima de $1 bilh\u00e3o um ano atr\u00e1s.<\/p>\n<p>O preju\u00edzo l\u00edquido da Monsanto totalizou $156 milh\u00f5es no trimestre, em compara\u00e7\u00e3o com um preju\u00edzo l\u00edquido de $249 milh\u00f5es no mesmo per\u00edodo do ano passado.<\/p>\n<p>No ano fiscal, a Monsanto realizou vendas do segmento Seeds and Genomics de $10,7 bilh\u00f5es, lideradas por um ano recorde para seu portf\u00f3lio global de soja que atingiu um aumento de 27% em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao ano anterior. Em 2014, a empresa tamb\u00e9m aumentou as margens do milho, mesmo com seus neg\u00f3cios de milho enfrentando ventos contr\u00e1rios de acres menores e efeitos cambiais. Dentro do neg\u00f3cio global de milho, o custo dos produtos vendidos da empresa foi menor, o mix do portf\u00f3lio estava no caminho certo, o aumento total do pre\u00e7o foi positivo e teve um bom volume contra o decl\u00ednio de acres plantados, disse a Monsanto.<\/p>\n<p>Olhando para o futuro, a empresa espera que o lucro de 2015 cres\u00e7a na faixa de dois d\u00edgitos a meados da adolesc\u00eancia em uma base percentual, impulsionado por seus neg\u00f3cios principais de milho e soja.
