\"DowO Empresa Qu\u00edmica Dow <\/a>relatou vendas de $14,4 bilh\u00f5es, um aumento de 5% em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao per\u00edodo do ano passado. Os ganhos foram impulsionados por aumentos de pre\u00e7os associados a condi\u00e7\u00f5es de demanda mais apertadas em regi\u00f5es-chave, com aumento de vendas relatado na maioria dos segmentos operacionais.<\/p>\n

Agricultural Sciences relatou vendas no terceiro trimestre de $1,4 bilh\u00f5es, est\u00e1vel em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao per\u00edodo do ano passado. Em uma base anual, o segmento relatou vendas recordes de $5,4 bilh\u00f5es.<\/p>\n

As vendas de Crop Protection ca\u00edram 1% em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao mesmo trimestre do ano passado, devido ao enfraquecimento das condi\u00e7\u00f5es de mercado na Am\u00e9rica do Norte. No acumulado do ano, as vendas de novos produtos de prote\u00e7\u00e3o de cultivos aumentaram 18%, lideradas pelo inseticida Isoclast.<\/p>\n

As sementes apresentaram ganhos de vendas de 5% em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao mesmo per\u00edodo do ano anterior, representando um terceiro trimestre recorde, liderado pelo crescimento da soja e do girassol na Am\u00e9rica do Norte e Am\u00e9rica Latina.<\/p>\n

Os lucros de capital para o segmento foram de $1 milh\u00f5es. Isso se compara a $3 milh\u00f5es no per\u00edodo do ano passado. O segmento relatou EBITDA de $5 milh\u00f5es, abaixo dos $18 milh\u00f5es no mesmo trimestre do ano passado. As margens de EBITDA do terceiro trimestre refletem o impacto de condi\u00e7\u00f5es de mercado mais fracas em um trimestre sazonalmente fraco, pesando sobre os resultados de Prote\u00e7\u00e3o de Cultivos, juntamente com o aumento de gastos em iniciativas de crescimento.<\/p>\n

As despesas com vendas, gerais e administrativas (SG&A) aumentaram 8% em compara\u00e7\u00e3o ao mesmo per\u00edodo do ano anterior, impulsionadas principalmente por iniciativas de crescimento, incluindo atividades comerciais em Ci\u00eancias Agr\u00e1rias.<\/p>\n

O fluxo de caixa das opera\u00e7\u00f5es foi de $1,8 bilh\u00e3o no trimestre e $3,7 bilh\u00e3o no acumulado do ano.
