A Ag\u00eancia de Prote\u00e7\u00e3o Ambiental dos EUA (EPA) aprovou o uso do fungicida FORTIX para a supress\u00e3o da S\u00edndrome da Morte S\u00fabita (SDS) na soja. Seu uso na maioria dos estados produtores de soja est\u00e1 sob o selo FIFRA 2(ee). O FORTIX \u00e9 comercializado e vendido em conjunto por Arysta Ci\u00eancias da Vida<\/a> e Cheminova, Inc.<\/a><\/p>\n

FORTIX est\u00e1 atualmente registrado para uso em milho, soja e trigo para controlar as principais doen\u00e7as foliares. O fungicida combina fluoxastrobina, a estrobilurina de a\u00e7\u00e3o r\u00e1pida, da Arysta LifeScience e flutriafol, o triazol de maior dura\u00e7\u00e3o, da Cheminova.<\/p>\n

\u201cO SDS \u00e9 prevalente em todos os estados produtores de soja\u201d, diz o Dr. Dunk Porterfield, gerente de desenvolvimento de fungicidas da Arysta LifeScience. \u201cEle infecta mudas de soja logo ap\u00f3s o plantio, mas os sintomas geralmente n\u00e3o s\u00e3o aparentes at\u00e9 a flora\u00e7\u00e3o de meados do ver\u00e3o.\u201d Pesquisas indicam que as perdas de rendimento variam de 20-30% e, em casos extremos, podem chegar a 70%.<\/p>\n
