Em sua fun\u00e7\u00e3o, Elkassabany ser\u00e1 respons\u00e1vel pelo desenvolvimento, implementa\u00e7\u00e3o e gerenciamento de estrat\u00e9gias de pol\u00edtica cient\u00edfica e regulat\u00f3ria sobre quest\u00f5es ambientais para ajudar a promover os objetivos e o plano estrat\u00e9gico da CLA. Ele tamb\u00e9m trabalhar\u00e1 em estreita colabora\u00e7\u00e3o com os l\u00edderes membros para gerenciar o Comit\u00ea de Avalia\u00e7\u00e3o de Risco Ambiental e seus grupos de trabalho.<\/p>\n

Antes de ingressar na CropLife America, Elkassabany atuou como diretor de assuntos regulat\u00f3rios relativos ao registro na SC Johnson & Son, Inc. em Racine, Wisconsin, supervisionando uma equipe respons\u00e1vel por garantir e manter registros federais e estaduais para todos os produtos de consumo. Antes dessa posi\u00e7\u00e3o, na US EPA, Elkassabany atuou como chefe de filial no Office of Pesticides Programs, Antimicrobials Division, Risk Assessment and Science Support Branch. Antes de ingressar na EPA, Elkassabany foi assistente de pesquisa no Departamento de Entomologia da University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, por cinco anos. Ele tamb\u00e9m lecionou como professor adjunto de microbiologia no Montgomery County Community College em Rockville, Maryland, por 10 anos.<\/p>\n
