Para controlar \u00e1caros em abelhas, o produto \u00e9 aplicado dentro de colmeias comerciais por meio de tiras pl\u00e1sticas.<\/p>\n<p><em>Varroa<\/em> \u00e1caros s\u00e3o parasitas que se alimentam de abelhas em desenvolvimento, levando \u00e0 mortalidade da ninhada e \u00e0 redu\u00e7\u00e3o da vida \u00fatil das abelhas oper\u00e1rias. Eles tamb\u00e9m transmitem v\u00e1rios v\u00edrus de abelhas. A sa\u00fade de uma col\u00f4nia pode ser gravemente danificada por uma infesta\u00e7\u00e3o de <em>Varroa<\/em> \u00e1caros.
