Produtores de hortali\u00e7as, alho-por\u00f3 e culturas de viveiro t\u00eam sofrido nos \u00faltimos anos com a perda de ativos de prote\u00e7\u00e3o de cultivos, seja porque mais produtos s\u00e3o revogados ou passam por novo registro e perdem colheitas e usos. Um fabricante, no entanto, tem se dedicado a aprimorar suas recomenda\u00e7\u00f5es e apoiar e incentivar a Extens\u00e3o de Autoriza\u00e7\u00e3o para Usos Menores (EAMU) para seus produtos qu\u00edmicos. \u201cEstar dispon\u00edvel h\u00e1 4 d\u00e9cadas n\u00e3o significa que n\u00e3o tenha havido melhorias em sua jornada. Nesse per\u00edodo, todos os obst\u00e1culos de registro foram superados e, h\u00e1 quatro anos, a Dow investiu e lan\u00e7ou uma nova e aprimorada formula\u00e7\u00e3o de dupla concentra\u00e7\u00e3o do Dow Shield 400. Por meio desse processo, ele manteve suas principais recomenda\u00e7\u00f5es para as culturas e se tornou um ingrediente ativo ainda mais importante para o controle de ervas daninhas perenes e anuais dif\u00edceis, como cardos-rasteiros, batatas-de-esp\u00e9cie, cal\u00eandula-do-milho, erva-de-cheiro, erva-da-mata e cardo-porco-liso. A formula\u00e7\u00e3o mais concentrada vem em uma embalagem avan\u00e7ada com tecnologia de tampa autovedante, sem necessidade de descarte de folha met\u00e1lica, facilitando o manuseio, simplificando a pulveriza\u00e7\u00e3o e minimizando o risco de contamina\u00e7\u00e3o pontual. Assim, os produtores de vegetais se beneficiam dessa formula\u00e7\u00e3o avan\u00e7ada, assim como os produtores de culturas em grandes \u00e1reas\u201d, afirma Dilwyn.<\/p>\n

\u201cO Dow Shield 400 possui recomenda\u00e7\u00f5es completas de r\u00f3tulo para 19 culturas diferentes, incluindo rutabagas, nabos, beterrabas, cebolas bulbosas, br\u00f3colis\/calabresa, repolho, couve-flor, beterraba forrageira, milho forrageiro, linha\u00e7a e couve-de-bruxelas, bem como a maioria dos cereais e colza, e 19 EAMUs, incluindo aspargos, alho, chalotas, acelga, espinafre, beterraba, repolho chin\u00eas, couve, couve-galega, ervas folhosas de cultivo externo, alho-por\u00f3 de cultivo externo e cebolas para salada. Somando as recomenda\u00e7\u00f5es de r\u00f3tulo e as EAMUs, mais de 50 culturas podem ser tratadas com o Dow Shield 400 atualmente, e a lista est\u00e1 em constante crescimento e evolu\u00e7\u00e3o\u201d, afirma Dilwyn.<\/p>\n

Os produtores de allium t\u00eam cada vez menos produtos qu\u00edmicos dispon\u00edveis, mas o Dow Shield 400 oferece recomenda\u00e7\u00f5es para a maioria das culturas de allium, incluindo cebolas bulbosas, cebolas para salada, alho-por\u00f3 de exterior, alho e chalotas. O Dow Shield 400 deve ser usado a partir de 1st<\/sup> Mar\u00e7o e quando essas planta\u00e7\u00f5es tiverem pelo menos 2 folhas verdadeiras, mas antes de 6 semanas da colheita.<\/p>\n

Repolho, couve-flor e br\u00f3colis tamb\u00e9m podem ser tratados a partir do est\u00e1gio de 2 folhas verdadeiras at\u00e9 6 semanas antes da colheita, e couve-de-bruxelas entre o est\u00e1gio de 2 folhas verdadeiras e 9 folhas verdadeiras. A dose \u00e9 de 0,25 L\/ha para ervas daninhas anuais, 0,5 L\/ha para plantas perenes em uma \u00fanica aplica\u00e7\u00e3o ou at\u00e9 0,75 L\/ha de dose m\u00e1xima total em duas aplica\u00e7\u00f5es programadas.<\/p>\n

No entanto, ervilhas ou feij\u00f5es n\u00e3o devem ser plantados no mesmo ano do tratamento com Dow Shield 400.
