O evento Annual Biocontrol Industry Meeting (ABIM) em Basel, Su\u00ed\u00e7a, terminou esta semana com quase 900 participantes \u2014 o maior em seus 11 anos \u2014 representando 48 pa\u00edses. O evento \u00e9 organizado pela International Biocontrol Manufacturers Association (IBMA) e pelo Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FIBL).<\/p>\n

Quando o show come\u00e7ou, grande parte do mundo via pesticidas qu\u00edmicos e produtos de biocontrole como entidades separadas. At\u00e9 cinco anos atr\u00e1s, havia uma distin\u00e7\u00e3o para muitos. Para muitos, a linha que separava os dois ficou seriamente borrada, se n\u00e3o foi completamente apagada.<\/p>\n

2. Os motoristas<\/p>\n

O desejo insaci\u00e1vel dos consumidores por produtos org\u00e2nicos levou os produtores a investir em produtos de biocontrole para proteger suas planta\u00e7\u00f5es.
