\"BPIA<\/a>A Biological Products Industry Alliance (BPIA), anteriormente BioPesticide Industry Alliance, \u00e9 o novo nome da associa\u00e7\u00e3o comercial de r\u00e1pido crescimento sediada nos EUA que representa a ind\u00fastria de produtos biol\u00f3gicos. A associa\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 BPIA inclui fabricantes e comerciantes de produtos biol\u00f3gicos, distribuidores, processadores de alimentos, produtores e prestadores de servi\u00e7os que d\u00e3o suporte \u00e0 agricultura, sa\u00fade p\u00fablica, silvicultura e mercados especializados, como casa e jardim, grama e plantas ornamentais e controle estrutural de pragas.<\/p>\n

\u201cO objetivo da BPIA \u00e9 ser a \u00fanica voz para toda a ind\u00fastria de produtos biol\u00f3gicos\u201d, disse Rick Melnick, Presidente do Conselho de Administra\u00e7\u00e3o da BPIA e Gerente Global de Marca da Valent BioSciences Corporation. \u201cMudar nosso nome foi um pr\u00f3ximo passo importante para sermos mais inclusivos de uma gama mais ampla de produtos biol\u00f3gicos baseados em ci\u00eancia que criam valor na Am\u00e9rica do Norte e ao redor do mundo.\u201d<\/p>\n

Em outubro do ano passado, o Conselho da BPIA votou para expandir suas categorias de membros para incluir a ind\u00fastria de bioestimulantes, bem como produtores e processadores de alimentos. A organiza\u00e7\u00e3o em expans\u00e3o agora representa mais de 120 empresas associadas e relata um aumento de 25% em membros no \u00faltimo ano.<\/p>\n
