O objetivo do acordo \u00e9 melhorar os rendimentos do trigo compartilhando ci\u00eancia de ponta e aplicando novos modelos para efici\u00eancia fotossint\u00e9tica aprimorada em plantas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial\">Nos \u00faltimos anos, a Bayer j\u00e1 cultivou uma parceria pr\u00f3xima com o SIBS. Uma parte da pesquisa do Instituto se concentra na biologia dos sistemas de fotoss\u00edntese, em particular no desenvolvimento e aplica\u00e7\u00e3o de modelos para entender e melhorar os sistemas fotossint\u00e9ticos nas principais culturas. Sob a nova colabora\u00e7\u00e3o, pesquisadores do SIBS trabalhar\u00e3o em estreita colabora\u00e7\u00e3o com a Bayer no desenvolvimento e valida\u00e7\u00e3o de um modelo de fotoss\u00edntese do dossel de trigo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial\">\u201cA popula\u00e7\u00e3o mundial est\u00e1 crescendo, e a terra ar\u00e1vel \u00e9 limitada. An\u00e1lises baseadas em modelos s\u00e3o uma maneira eficaz de identificar novas op\u00e7\u00f5es para melhorar a fotoss\u00edntese. Nesta nova bolsa, desenvolveremos modelos avan\u00e7ados de fotoss\u00edntese do dossel de trigo para ajudar a orientar o melhoramento futuro do trigo.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial\">Fotoss\u00edntese \u00e9 o processo pelo qual as plantas usam a luz solar para converter di\u00f3xido de carbono da atmosfera e \u00e1gua em carboidratos e biomassa.
