O prov\u00e1vel resultado dessas fus\u00f5es e se os esfor\u00e7os combinados de pesquisa e desenvolvimento (\u201cP&amp;D\u201d) ser\u00e3o menores do que as somas aditivas das empresas individuais ser\u00e3o revisados.<\/p>\n<p class=\"subhead\">ChemChina-Syngenta<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.agribusinessglobal.com\/pt\/agrichemicals\/chemchina-participation-in-syngenta-exceeds-98-threshold\/\">A Syngenta aceitou recentemente a oferta de $43 bilh\u00f5es da ChemChina<\/a>, tornando-se a aquisi\u00e7\u00e3o estrangeira mais cara da hist\u00f3ria chinesa. Este acordo requer aprova\u00e7\u00e3o regulat\u00f3ria na Europa, onde a Syngenta est\u00e1 sediada, e nos Estados Unidos, onde v\u00e1rios ativos da Syngenta est\u00e3o baseados.<\/p>\n<p>O presidente da ChemChina, Ren Jianxin, promoveu a fus\u00e3o dizendo que ela &quot;aumentar\u00e1 a produtividade global das colheitas, ao mesmo tempo em que conservar\u00e1 recursos naturais escassos&quot; e acrescentando que a fus\u00e3o proporcionaria uma oportunidade de crescimento na China, &quot;onde h\u00e1 uma r\u00e1pida moderniza\u00e7\u00e3o impulsionada pela necessidade de aumentar a produtividade dos gr\u00e3os e aumentar a qualidade dos alimentos&quot;.\u00b2 Al\u00e9m disso, essa fus\u00e3o tamb\u00e9m gerou esperan\u00e7a nos compradores, que agora esperam que a propriedade da Syngenta pela ChemChina ajude a acelerar o processo chin\u00eas de avalia\u00e7\u00e3o de novas sementes biotecnol\u00f3gicas.<\/p>\n<p>A opini\u00e3o sobre o impacto na pesquisa \u00e9 dividida. Alguns pesquisadores sugerem que isso melhorar\u00e1 a qualidade da pesquisa, enquanto outros disseram que a pesquisa pode se tornar muito espec\u00edfica para as \u00e1reas em que a ChemChina e a Syngenta operam.
