{"id":61325,"date":"2018-05-29T09:16:11","date_gmt":"2018-05-29T13:16:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.agribusinessglobal.com\/?p=61325"},"modified":"2018-05-29T09:16:11","modified_gmt":"2018-05-29T13:16:11","slug":"major-gnss-project-to-boost-potential-for-satellite-farming-in-brazil","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.agribusinessglobal.com\/pt\/markets\/americas\/major-gnss-project-to-boost-potential-for-satellite-farming-in-brazil\/","title":{"rendered":"Grande projeto GNSS aumentar\u00e1 o potencial da agricultura de &quot;sat\u00e9lites&quot; no Brasil"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A Universidade de Nottingham est\u00e1 trabalhando com parceiros brasileiros e da UE para resolver problemas de interfer\u00eancia atmosf\u00e9rica que dificultam o posicionamento baseado em sat\u00e9lite em pa\u00edses equatoriais como o Brasil.<\/p>\n<p>A rede de pesquisa apoiar\u00e1 o avan\u00e7o da agricultura de precis\u00e3o, que visa tornar as pr\u00e1ticas agr\u00edcolas mais baratas, mais ecol\u00f3gicas e mais eficientes, usando posicionamento por sat\u00e9lite e sensoriamento remoto.<\/p>\n<p>Essas tecnologias dependem de Sistemas Globais de Navega\u00e7\u00e3o por Sat\u00e9lite (GNSS) \u2014 como o GPS dos EUA e o novo equivalente europeu, Galileo \u2014 para obter coordenadas com precis\u00e3o de cent\u00edmetros na Terra. Os agricultores ent\u00e3o usam esses dados precisos em tempo real para otimizar o uso de fertilizantes, para dirigir m\u00e1quinas aut\u00f4nomas e para mapeamento do solo para maximizar a produ\u00e7\u00e3o agr\u00edcola em uma tentativa de alimentar uma popula\u00e7\u00e3o mundial cada vez maior.<\/p>\n<p>Apesar de seu potencial revolucion\u00e1rio, as taxas de ado\u00e7\u00e3o da agricultura de precis\u00e3o em pa\u00edses de regi\u00f5es equatoriais como o Brasil s\u00e3o prejudicadas por fen\u00f4menos espec\u00edficos na alta atmosfera da Terra (a ionosfera), conhecidos como cintila\u00e7\u00e3o ionosf\u00e9rica.<\/p>\n<p>A cintila\u00e7\u00e3o ionosf\u00e9rica afeta a integridade, disponibilidade e precis\u00e3o do posicionamento de sat\u00e9lite. Especificamente, ela causa interfer\u00eancia na propaga\u00e7\u00e3o de sinais de sat\u00e9lite conforme eles passam pela ionosfera, dificultando que os receptores GNSS travem em sat\u00e9lites e rastreiem seus sinais.
