Luca Bonini sabe que h\u00e1 desafios de curto e longo prazo que a ind\u00fastria de bioestimulantes enfrenta. Como o novo presidente do Conselho Europeu da Ind\u00fastria de Bioestimulantes (EBIC)<\/a>, ele est\u00e1 pronto para enfrentar esses desafios diretamente.<\/p>\n

Bonini \u00e9 CEO e propriet\u00e1rio da Italpollina, membro fundador da EBIC e produtora de bioestimulantes, fertilizantes org\u00e2nicos e micr\u00f3bios ben\u00e9ficos. Uma defini\u00e7\u00e3o padr\u00e3o \u00e9 cr\u00edtica para o crescimento da ind\u00fastria, ele diz. \u201cUma falta de entendimento de bioestimulantes vem da falta de uma defini\u00e7\u00e3o. Uma vez que a defini\u00e7\u00e3o esteja estabelecida, podemos ir at\u00e9 fazendeiros e distribuidores e falar sobre qualidade e diferen\u00e7as (com outros insumos agr\u00edcolas)\u201d, diz Bonini.<\/p>\n

Al\u00e9m da quest\u00e3o da defini\u00e7\u00e3o, Bonini espera um desafio de longo prazo que vem de diferentes setores \u2014 aceita\u00e7\u00e3o cont\u00ednua de bioestimulantes pela comunidade cient\u00edfica, academia e agricultores como um complemento vi\u00e1vel para outros insumos agr\u00edcolas. No passado, cientistas e academia nem sempre aceitaram bioestimulantes como insumo agr\u00edcola, quase dizendo que eles s\u00e3o parte de um "mercado paralelo", ele observa. Para a comunidade agr\u00edcola, Bonini quer ver o dia em que haja aceita\u00e7\u00e3o total de bioestimulantes como insumo agr\u00edcola "oficial".<\/p>\n

Para ajudar a resolver esses desafios, Bonini diz que parte de sua lista de tarefas como presidente da EBIC ser\u00e1 ajudar a criar limites entre as diferentes categorias de insumos agr\u00edcolas. Distribuidores, ele diz, devem saber o valor dos bioestimulantes para que possam oferecer os produtos aos agricultores. E os agricultores devem entender que os bioestimulantes s\u00e3o um insumo de cultivo eficaz. \u201c(Os agricultores) precisam saber que um bioestimulante n\u00e3o \u00e9 apenas uma f\u00f3rmula m\u00e1gica\u201d, diz Bonini. \u201cOs bioestimulantes t\u00eam um uso pr\u00e1tico.
