Poucas m\u00e1quinas, composto para nutri\u00e7\u00e3o de plantas, capina manual, irriga\u00e7\u00e3o manual. Os consumidores provavelmente considerariam isso como agricultura org\u00e2nica hoje em dia. Naquela \u00e9poca, danos causados por fungos e insetos eram a norma. As empresas no neg\u00f3cio de insumos agr\u00edcolas (sementes, fertilizantes, prote\u00e7\u00e3o de cultivos, bioestimulantes e similares) devem estar preparadas para responder a mudan\u00e7as r\u00e1pidas, reconhecer novas tend\u00eancias e aproveitar as oportunidades que acompanhar\u00e3o a transforma\u00e7\u00e3o cont\u00ednua da agricultura global.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A tend\u00eancia de fus\u00f5es e aquisi\u00e7\u00f5es se intensifica<\/strong><br \/>\nA globaliza\u00e7\u00e3o continuar\u00e1, pois muitas empresas regionais de m\u00e9dio porte (~$500M em receita) buscam crescimento e expans\u00e3o internacional. Isso est\u00e1 ocorrendo por meio de joint ventures, aquisi\u00e7\u00f5es, alian\u00e7as e fus\u00f5es. A simplifica\u00e7\u00e3o de neg\u00f3cios por multinacionais maiores continuar\u00e1, pois elas se concentram em estrat\u00e9gias de neg\u00f3cios principais e lucratividade - provavelmente resultando em desinvestimentos de unidades de neg\u00f3cios n\u00e3o essenciais e produtos maduros\/gen\u00e9ricos.
