Sob o acordo com a Yield10, a Simplot planeja conduzir pesquisas com essas caracter\u00edsticas de rendimento dentro de seu programa de pesquisa e desenvolvimento como uma estrat\u00e9gia para melhorar o desempenho e a sustentabilidade da cultura. Al\u00e9m do acordo de pesquisa n\u00e3o exclusivo de tr\u00eas anos, a Simplot recebeu uma op\u00e7\u00e3o para negociar um acordo de licen\u00e7a comercial exclusiva.<\/p>\n<p>As novas caracter\u00edsticas de rendimento de culturas inclu\u00eddas no acordo de pesquisa s\u00e3o C3003, C3004 e C4001. Em estudos realizados pela Yield10 em testes de estufa ou campo, essas caracter\u00edsticas mostraram uma gama de atividades promissoras, como bom desempenho agron\u00f4mico, aumento da fotoss\u00edntese, aumento do rendimento de sementes e\/ou aumento da produ\u00e7\u00e3o de biomassa.
