Ele \u00e9 creditado por salvar mais de 1 bilh\u00e3o de vidas e foi declarado \u201co pai da Revolu\u00e7\u00e3o Verde\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Mais de meio s\u00e9culo depois, a ind\u00fastria est\u00e1 passando por uma nova revolu\u00e7\u00e3o verde, impulsionada pelos consumidores que querem saber mais sobre a origem dos seus alimentos, tecnologia, maior supervis\u00e3o regulat\u00f3ria e, sim, medo sobre os insumos agr\u00edcolas tradicionais e os efeitos que eles t\u00eam na sa\u00fade humana \u2013 principalmente <a href=\"https:\/\/www.agribusinessglobal.com\/pt\/industry-news\/bayer-reaches-agreement-to-postpone-more-glyphosate-lawsuits-for-settlement-talks\/\">glifosato<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Por mais equivocado e anticient\u00edfico que esse medo possa ser, ele tem o potencial de gerar uma enorme perturba\u00e7\u00e3o na ind\u00fastria. H\u00e1 um velho ditado que diz que percep\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 realidade. O perigo representado pelo glifosato \u00e9 real para aqueles que ignoram a ci\u00eancia. E at\u00e9 agora, sua voz coletiva tem tido o poder de superar os dados.<\/p>\n<p>Mesmo sem esse vi\u00e9s anticient\u00edfico, os consumidores se tornaram mais experientes, e a internet deu a eles uma vis\u00e3o sem precedentes das cadeias de suprimentos. Eles est\u00e3o exigindo saber n\u00e3o apenas de onde seus alimentos v\u00eam, mas tamb\u00e9m como eles est\u00e3o sendo cultivados e quais insumos est\u00e3o sendo usados. Muitas empresas exploraram o desenvolvimento de seus pr\u00f3prios produtos, licenciamento de outras empresas, parcerias ou aquisi\u00e7\u00e3o de produtos ou empresas com novas tecnologias.<\/p>\n<p>Os insumos agr\u00edcolas tradicionais n\u00e3o v\u00e3o desaparecer t\u00e3o cedo. Os produtos biol\u00f3gicos funcionam como um complemento aos produtos que os produtores usam h\u00e1 d\u00e9cadas. Essas outras novas tecnologias tamb\u00e9m certamente impactar\u00e3o a quantidade de insumos agr\u00edcolas usados nos pr\u00f3ximos anos.<\/p>\n<p>Estamos entrando em uma nova Revolu\u00e7\u00e3o Verde impulsionada novamente pela tecnologia e apoiada por consumidores e governos que exigem menos insumos agr\u00edcolas tradicionais. Estamos ansiosos para ver como essa revolu\u00e7\u00e3o mudar\u00e1 a ind\u00fastria.
