O Minist\u00e9rio da Agricultura da China disse que o perigo da praga da lagarta-do-cartucho<\/a> \u00e9 mais grave este ano, acrescentando que as medidas de preven\u00e7\u00e3o e controlo ser\u00e3o mais agressivas, relata Reuters<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Espera-se que a praga destrutiva afete cerca de 100 milh\u00f5es de mu (6,67 milh\u00f5es de hectares) de \u00e1rea plantada com milho este ano, bem como outras culturas como cana-de-a\u00e7\u00facar, sorgo e trigo de inverno, disse o minist\u00e9rio em um comunicado na sexta-feira.<\/p>\n

A lagarta-do-cartucho chegou \u00e0 China pela primeira vez em janeiro de 2019, atingindo mais de um milh\u00e3o de hectares de terras agr\u00edcolas no pa\u00eds no ano passado, danificando principalmente planta\u00e7\u00f5es de milho e cana-de-a\u00e7\u00facar, de acordo com um relat\u00f3rio de um instituto governamental.<\/p>\n
