Embora a produ\u00e7\u00e3o por unidade de \u00e1rea de terra seja considerada cinco vezes maior do que a agricultura tradicional no solo pode produzir, suspeito que a falta de economia de escala comprometa a efici\u00eancia. Al\u00e9m disso, s\u00e3o pa\u00edses desenvolvidos com boas pr\u00e1ticas agr\u00edcolas que tamb\u00e9m garantem a seguran\u00e7a alimentar.<\/p>\n<p>Os investimentos podem ser na forma de joint ventures de produ\u00e7\u00e3o agr\u00edcola em troca de uma certa porcentagem da produ\u00e7\u00e3o ou simplesmente financiando a produ\u00e7\u00e3o agr\u00edcola.<\/p>\n<p>Para ter um maior grau de garantia ou seguran\u00e7a de suprimentos, especialmente se houver potencial de escassez local por qualquer motivo, tamb\u00e9m deve haver algum tipo de acordo bilateral entre governos.<\/p>\n<p>Os pa\u00edses contratantes devem ter um regime robusto e resiliente para lidar com futuras pandemias, para que o processo de produ\u00e7\u00e3o de alimentos e a cadeia de suprimentos n\u00e3o sejam interrompidos.<\/p>\n<p>Al\u00e9m de fornecer capital para garantir suprimentos de alimentos, tamb\u00e9m se pode adquirir e controlar produtores e fabricantes de insumos estrat\u00e9gicos (sementes, fertilizantes e produtos qu\u00edmicos para prote\u00e7\u00e3o de cultivos), o que torna o relacionamento com os agricultores contratados mais seguro e vinculativo.
