O setor de produtos biol\u00f3gicos \u00e9 mais do que uma conquista de participa\u00e7\u00e3o de mercado por empresas multinacionais. Ele est\u00e1 rapidamente se tornando um item estrat\u00e9gico b\u00e1sico nos portf\u00f3lios de empresas de insumos agr\u00edcolas de todos os tamanhos ao redor do mundo.<\/p>\n

Nos \u00faltimos Agroneg\u00f3cio Global<\/em> Pesquisa sobre o estado da ind\u00fastria (metodologia abaixo): 58% dos fornecedores e distribuidores respondentes de 43 pa\u00edses dizem que est\u00e3o integrando produtos biol\u00f3gicos em seus portf\u00f3lios, e outros 21% est\u00e3o pensando em vend\u00ea-los, e 21% disseram que n\u00e3o est\u00e3o desenvolvendo uma estrat\u00e9gia biol\u00f3gica.<\/p>\n

Pesticidas biol\u00f3gicos s\u00e3o a maior categoria de produtos biol\u00f3gicos que fornecedores e distribuidores est\u00e3o buscando, e as empresas est\u00e3o lan\u00e7ando ou desenvolvendo-os com a mesma prioridade (38%) dos pesticidas qu\u00edmicos tradicionais: inseticidas (40%), fungicidas (37%) e herbicidas (36%).<\/p>\n

At\u00e9 mesmo empresas que n\u00e3o est\u00e3o investindo em novos produtos biol\u00f3gicos dizem que est\u00e3o vendo uma demanda maior: 88% dos entrevistados dizem que a demanda est\u00e1 aumentando por produtos biol\u00f3gicos, e os consumidores s\u00e3o a for\u00e7a motriz por tr\u00e1s dos sistemas de produ\u00e7\u00e3o em evolu\u00e7\u00e3o; 72% dos entrevistados dizem que a demanda do consumidor por res\u00edduos de pesticidas mais baixos \u00e9 a maior raz\u00e3o para o aumento em produtos biol\u00f3gicos, o que est\u00e1 for\u00e7ando toda a cadeia de valor upstream e downstream a reavaliar os sistemas de produ\u00e7\u00e3o. As leis ambientais foram a segunda raz\u00e3o mais significativa para o aumento da demanda (48%), seguidas por uma estrutura regulat\u00f3ria favor\u00e1vel (37%) e demanda de agricultores que est\u00e3o cumprindo com novas estrat\u00e9gias de compra de grandes varejistas de alimentos.<\/p>\n

Metodologia da Pesquisa e Demografia<\/strong><\/p>\n

AgriBusiness Global's<\/em> Pesquisa anual sobre o estado da ind\u00fastria e relat\u00f3rio especial oferece aos leitores um instant\u00e2neo biogr\u00e1fico da sa\u00fade da ind\u00fastria e do sentimento das empresas que operam nela. A pesquisa foi elaborada por <\/em>Agroneg\u00f3cio Global<\/em> editores e transmitidos para nossa base de assinantes de e-mail. Lembretes por e-mail foram enviados durante as quatro semanas em que a pesquisa esteve aberta, de 11 de maio a 8 de junho, e um incentivo foi oferecido para ganhar um vale-presente $100.<\/em> A pesquisa foi realizada por 133 entrevistados em 43 pa\u00edses, o que lhe d\u00e1 uma margem de erro de \u00b18,44% com um n\u00edvel de confian\u00e7a de 95%.<\/em><\/p>\n

Os entrevistados da pesquisa representam principalmente fabricantes e formuladores de prote\u00e7\u00e3o de cultivos (55%), distribuidores e empresas de comercializa\u00e7\u00e3o (27%) e fornecedores e distribuidores de sa\u00fade vegetal (17%). Cerca de 42% n\u00e3o originam nenhuma mol\u00e9cula, e 30% n\u00e3o formulam nenhum produto, indicando que empresas de comercializa\u00e7\u00e3o e distribuidores n\u00e3o formuladores ainda representam uma parcela significativa da ind\u00fastria.<\/p>\n

Mais da metade das empresas respondentes (56%) tiveram receitas brutas de menos de $25 milh\u00f5es em 2019, o que \u00e9 consistente com os \u00faltimos 10 anos. No entanto, o n\u00famero de empresas que faturam mais de $250 milh\u00f5es (21%) dobrou desde 2009, ilustrando a consolida\u00e7\u00e3o entre as maiores empresas do setor.<\/p>\n
