Esta cepa foi avaliada em diferentes culturas vegetais (tomate, alface, pepino, abobrinha, batata), bem como em vinhedos e \u00e1rvores frut\u00edferas. Pseudomonas putida B2017 demonstrou grande potencial para o controle de um amplo espectro de doen\u00e7as agr\u00edcolas, incluindo fungos causadores de o\u00eddio (<em>Oidium neolycopersici, Glovomyces chicharacearum, Leveillula taurica, Erisiphe necator<\/em>) m\u00edldio (<em>Bremia lactucae<\/em>, <em>Phytophthora infestans, Plasmopara vit\u00edcola<\/em>), apodrece (<em>Fusarium oxysporium<\/em>), esclerotinia, var\u00edola (<em>Rhizoctonia solani<\/em>), e doen\u00e7as bacterianas como <em>Pseudomonas syringae, Pectobact\u00e9ria,<\/em> e <em>Xanthomonas<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEstamos sempre animados para descobrir e caracterizar cepas com potencial de biocontrole t\u00e3o alto\u201d, diz Carolina Fernandez, Diretora de Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento da Futureco Bioscience. \u201cA efic\u00e1cia da cepa B2017 \u00e9 muito consistente, e estou convencida de que nossas formula\u00e7\u00f5es logo ser\u00e3o uma ferramenta muito valiosa para qualquer fazendeiro que queira aplicar estrat\u00e9gias de controle biol\u00f3gico.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A concess\u00e3o da patente ocorre ap\u00f3s a Futureco Bioscience ter submetido \u00e0s autoridades alem\u00e3s (Estado-Membro Relator \u2013 RMS) em mar\u00e7o de 2021 o dossi\u00ea para solicitar a autoriza\u00e7\u00e3o deste microrganismo como uma nova subst\u00e2ncia fitossanit\u00e1ria ativa de acordo com as disposi\u00e7\u00f5es do regulamento europeu 1107\/2009. Uma vez conclu\u00edda a revis\u00e3o das autoridades de todos os estados-membros da UE, da Comiss\u00e3o e da Ag\u00eancia Europeia para a Seguran\u00e7a Alimentar, as formula\u00e7\u00f5es baseadas neste microrganismo ser\u00e3o eleg\u00edveis para registro em qualquer pa\u00eds da Uni\u00e3o Europeia. A primeira formula\u00e7\u00e3o, codificada como B2017 OD, est\u00e1 agora em testes na Espanha, It\u00e1lia, Fran\u00e7a, entre outros pa\u00edses, mostrando resultados excepcionais.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA concess\u00e3o desta patente refor\u00e7a o alinhamento da miss\u00e3o e vis\u00e3o da Futureco Bioscience com as necessidades expressas pelas partes interessadas. Agricultores, consumidores e legisladores est\u00e3o dispostos a promover uma agricultura mais sustent\u00e1vel, colocar em pr\u00e1tica programas como a estrat\u00e9gia europeia &#039;Farm to Fork&#039; e se alinhar com os Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustent\u00e1vel da ONU e a transi\u00e7\u00e3o global para sistemas agroalimentares sustent\u00e1veis\u201d, diz Jose Manuel Lara, Diretor T\u00e9cnico da Futureco Bioscience.<\/p>\n<p>Este \u00e9 um marco muito importante para a Futureco Bioscience, fruto de seu reconhecido investimento em P&amp;D e seu compromisso hist\u00f3rico com a agricultura regenerativa.
