Greif fez parte da iniciativa lan\u00e7ada pela BASF para combater a erva-d\u2019\u00e1gua e a erva-caruru em 2019, denominada Opera\u00e7\u00e3o Erradica\u00e7\u00e3o de Ervas Daninhas<\/a>, que agora \u00e9 uma coaliz\u00e3o de toda a ind\u00fastria. Esse esfor\u00e7o visa mudar a abordagem e toda a mentalidade em torno do manejo de ervas daninhas.<\/p>\n

\u201cPara mim, a pedra fundamental, ou o bloco de constru\u00e7\u00e3o superior \u00e9 a dilig\u00eancia para controlar a \u00faltima erva daninha que est\u00e1 na fazenda. Isso se resume a que at\u00e9 mesmo uma erva daninha ou Palmer pode produzir at\u00e9 um milh\u00e3o de sementes por planta.
