Ele tamb\u00e9m pede que governos e o setor privado formem grupos de pequenos agricultores semelhantes para ampliar a ado\u00e7\u00e3o de m\u00faltiplas medidas, investir em infraestrutura resiliente ao clima, formar sistemas nacionais de pesquisa agr\u00edcola pioneiros em novas tecnologias e ajudar os agricultores a levar novas culturas sustent\u00e1veis ao mercado. Com os pequenos agricultores desproporcionalmente afetados pelos riscos clim\u00e1ticos, as pr\u00e1ticas agr\u00edcolas resilientes ao clima tamb\u00e9m ser\u00e3o vitais para reduzir a desigualdade global e impulsionar o crescimento inclusivo.<\/p>\n<p>Al\u00e9m disso, sugere a constru\u00e7\u00e3o de planos de gest\u00e3o de terras em torno da redu\u00e7\u00e3o de riscos clim\u00e1ticos, aumento do seguro de safra e melhor planejamento de seguran\u00e7a alimentar para mitigar riscos clim\u00e1ticos, e uso de impostos, subs\u00eddios e outros incentivos para encorajar a agricultura sustent\u00e1vel. Por exemplo, a China mudou suas pol\u00edticas de subs\u00eddios para encorajar uma troca de fertilizantes qu\u00edmicos por org\u00e2nicos, ajudando a reduzir o uso de fertilizantes qu\u00edmicos em 111,5 quilos por hectare.<\/p>\n<p>O relat\u00f3rio tamb\u00e9m revela que mais orienta\u00e7\u00f5es s\u00e3o necess\u00e1rias sobre quais medidas priorizar em cada regi\u00e3o porque sua aplicabilidade varia entre e dentro dos pa\u00edses devido a diferentes sistemas e pr\u00e1ticas agr\u00edcolas. Por exemplo, as taxas de aplica\u00e7\u00e3o de fertilizantes s\u00e3o cinco vezes maiores na \u00cdndia do que na Eti\u00f3pia, portanto, medidas de mitiga\u00e7\u00e3o relacionadas ao solo e aos fertilizantes devem ser uma prioridade maior na \u00cdndia.<\/p>\n<p>Gillian Pais, s\u00f3cia da McKinsey, disse: \u201cCom 510 milh\u00f5es de pequenos agricultores em todo o mundo, muitas vezes em locais altamente vulner\u00e1veis aos impactos das mudan\u00e7as clim\u00e1ticas, implementar medidas de adapta\u00e7\u00e3o e mitiga\u00e7\u00e3o ser\u00e1 essencial para seus meios de subsist\u00eancia.
