Mas em um per\u00edodo de cinco anos, com estresse abi\u00f3tico presente em um ou dois desses anos, o aumento m\u00e9dio de rendimento ao longo dos cinco anos \u00e9 quase sempre de 15 a 18 bushels em qualquer local, diz ele.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUma das coisas que estamos aprendendo cada vez mais \u00e9 que, al\u00e9m do controle de doen\u00e7as, certas classes de fungicidas \u2014 n\u00f3s os chamamos de fungicidas fitossanit\u00e1rios \u2014 tamb\u00e9m t\u00eam a capacidade de aumentar a produtividade e a efici\u00eancia da cultura\u201d, diz Harp. <em>Vida de colheita<\/em><sup>\u00ae<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>A Syngenta chama esses fungicidas, incluindo o Miravis Neo, de \u201cmais limpos e mais verdes\u201d. Mais limpo se refere \u00e0 capacidade de controlar doen\u00e7as f\u00fangicas que roubam a produtividade. Mais verde se refere ao esverdeamento prolongado da planta, pelo qual o fungicida finalmente permite que a planta produza mais energia durante o per\u00edodo em que est\u00e1 no campo, em oposi\u00e7\u00e3o a uma senesc\u00eancia prematura ou ressecamento.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cQueremos associar o fato de que \u00e9 mais limpo e tem bom controle de doen\u00e7as, mas \u00e9 mais verde por causa destes benef\u00edcios \u00e0 sa\u00fade das plantas: preserva\u00e7\u00e3o do rendimento na presen\u00e7a de estresse abi\u00f3tico, bem como uma cultura mais eficiente e produtiva\u201d, diz Harp.<\/p>\n<p>Esses fungicidas podem reduzir a taxa de transpira\u00e7\u00e3o das folhas, mas mant\u00eam a fotoss\u00edntese \u2014 a efici\u00eancia do PS2. \u201cEstamos conservando e prevenindo parte da perda de vapor de \u00e1gua da folha sem causar impacto na produ\u00e7\u00e3o de energia\u201d, ele explica, observando que em um campo onde um produto como o Miravis Neo \u00e9 usado em compara\u00e7\u00e3o a um campo adjacente onde ele n\u00e3o \u00e9 aplicado, e condi\u00e7\u00f5es de seca se seguem, \u201cvoc\u00ea ter\u00e1 mais enrolamento das folhas no n\u00e3o tratado\u201d.
