Desde que se juntou \u00e0 Vive no outono de 2022, Baumann garantiu que a Vive continuasse a oferecer desempenho e design que priorizam o produtor por meio do compromisso da empresa com a Qu\u00edmica de Precis\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>Sob sua lideran\u00e7a, a Vive est\u00e1 no caminho para ter o mecanismo de inova\u00e7\u00e3o de maior velocidade na agricultura. Com o objetivo de colocar um produto Vive em cada acre, o escopo de responsabilidade de Baumann agora inclui Pesquisa, Desenvolvimento, Regulamenta\u00e7\u00e3o e Fabrica\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEntrei na Vive por causa do poder transformacional da plataforma de nanopol\u00edmero Allosperse\u201d, diz Baumann. \u201cEla tem um potencial incr\u00edvel para melhorar a prote\u00e7\u00e3o de cultivos quando acoplada \u00e0 nossa filosofia de design de Precision Chemistry.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sob a orienta\u00e7\u00e3o de Baumann, a Vive est\u00e1 expandindo suas instala\u00e7\u00f5es de P&amp;D em Mississauga como parte de uma expans\u00e3o corporativa que aumentar\u00e1 a sede da Vive em 50%. A expans\u00e3o inclui novos laborat\u00f3rios para ci\u00eancia vegetal, microbiologia, tecnologia de aplica\u00e7\u00e3o e espa\u00e7o para 40 cientistas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDoug tem sido parte integrante da nossa equipe desde que se juntou \u00e0 Vive e estou emocionado em promov\u00ea-lo a esta fun\u00e7\u00e3o\u201d, diz Darren Anderson, CEO da Vive. \u201cA capacidade de Doug de combinar novas tecnologias e inova\u00e7\u00e3o com um senso agu\u00e7ado das necessidades do mercado continuar\u00e1 a nos levar a um portf\u00f3lio de produtos l\u00edder mundial.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Baumann, que \u201cvive a vida cient\u00edfica desde 1999\u201d, \u00e9 bacharel em Engenharia Qu\u00edmica pela Queen&#039;s University e doutor em Engenharia Biom\u00e9dica e Qu\u00edmica pela Universidade de Toronto, onde foi bolsista no Massey College.<\/p>\n<p>Um l\u00edder experiente em P&amp;D com um forte hist\u00f3rico de conquistas na ind\u00fastria agroqu\u00edmica, Baumann traz experi\u00eancia significativa em prote\u00e7\u00e3o de cultivos para a Vive de seu tempo na CYTEC (agora Solvay) e na Syngenta.
