O projeto \u00e9 chamado de \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cropprime.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CropPrime<\/a>\u201d, e \u00e9 financiado at\u00e9 \u20ac 1 milh\u00e3o pelo programa HORIZON-Marie Sk\u0142odowska-Curie Actions da Uni\u00e3o Europeia (ID do acordo de subven\u00e7\u00e3o: 101086366).<\/p>\n<p>O CropPrime se concentrar\u00e1 no desenvolvimento de novas tecnologias para melhorar a toler\u00e2ncia das planta\u00e7\u00f5es aos estresses associados \u00e0s mudan\u00e7as clim\u00e1ticas. Isso inclui o desenvolvimento de &quot;produtos bioestimulantes vegetais&quot;, usando compostos naturais derivados de fontes marinhas e terrestres de forma sustent\u00e1vel, como algas marinhas. O projeto tamb\u00e9m desenvolver\u00e1 fungicidas baseados em RNA para reduzir a infec\u00e7\u00e3o f\u00fangica nas planta\u00e7\u00f5es. As descobertas desta pesquisa levar\u00e3o ao desenvolvimento de uma nova gera\u00e7\u00e3o de produtos de tecnologia agr\u00edcola sustent\u00e1veis que ajudar\u00e3o os produtores a &quot;preparar&quot; e proteger suas planta\u00e7\u00f5es contra condi\u00e7\u00f5es clim\u00e1ticas adversas e estressantes, como seca, calor, frio e alagamento, estresses cuja incid\u00eancia est\u00e1 aumentando devido \u00e0s mudan\u00e7as clim\u00e1ticas.<\/p>\n<p>Em colabora\u00e7\u00e3o com os seus parceiros no projeto, a BioAtlantis ir\u00e1 elucidar os mecanismos moleculares subjacentes ao stress das plantas e ir\u00e1 fornecer novos <strong>Agentes de &#039;prepara\u00e7\u00e3o molecular&#039;<\/strong> para neutralizar perdas de rendimento de colheita induzidas por estresse. O projeto re\u00fane expertise em biologia de sistemas vegetais, qu\u00edmica, gen\u00e9tica e tecnologia de bioestimulantes na Europa, \u00c1frica e Am\u00e9rica do Sul, e o cons\u00f3rcio canalizar\u00e1 seus esfor\u00e7os para trazer solu\u00e7\u00f5es sustent\u00e1veis para prote\u00e7\u00e3o de colheitas ao produtor. As colheitas avaliadas neste projeto incluir\u00e3o morango e tomate.<\/p>\n<p>CropPrime \u00e9 uma rede pan-europeia composta por centros de pesquisa de plantas e institui\u00e7\u00f5es acad\u00eamicas l\u00edderes, incluindo: VIB-Plant Systems Biology, Ghent (B\u00e9lgica), The James Hutton Institute (Reino Unido), Mendel University em Brno e o Biology Center of the Czech Academy of Sciences (Rep\u00fablica Tcheca), o Center of Plant Systems Biology and Biotechnology (Bulg\u00e1ria). Junto com a BioAtlantis, a rede desenvolver\u00e1 novos produtos para prote\u00e7\u00e3o de plantas, permitindo um fluxo eficaz de informa\u00e7\u00f5es e conhecimentos atrav\u00e9s de estados-membros e setores da UE.
