Ap\u00f3s uma aus\u00eancia de quatro anos, Agroneg\u00f3cio Global<\/em> A revista conseguiu reunir novamente pessoalmente representantes de agroqu\u00edmicos no Cimeira do Com\u00e9rcio<\/a>. Realizado em Aventura, FL, de 9 a 10 de agosto, o Trade Summit reuniu participantes de todo o mundo conduzindo neg\u00f3cios em todos os setores do espa\u00e7o agr\u00edcola. No total, mais de 800 participantes estavam presentes de dezenas de pa\u00edses.<\/p>\n

O evento come\u00e7ou com um caf\u00e9 da manh\u00e3 com dois palestrantes principais. Ambos eram de AgbioInvestidor<\/a>, uma fonte l\u00edder de informa\u00e7\u00f5es e an\u00e1lises sobre o mercado global de prote\u00e7\u00e3o de cultivos com sede no Reino Unido.<\/p>\n

O primeiro a falar para o p\u00fablico da C\u00fapula Comercial de 2023 foi Allister Phillips<\/a>, Cofundador da AgbioInvestor. Phillips analisou o mercado de sementes. Antes dos anos da COVID-19, as vendas de sementes globalmente estavam em um pequeno decl\u00ednio, ele disse.<\/p>\n

\u201cQuando voc\u00ea olha para os n\u00fameros, a semente tratada valia menos em 2019 do que em 2014\u201d, disse Phillips. Felizmente, o mercado come\u00e7ou a se recuperar durante as temporadas de cultivo de 2020 e 2021, com as vendas de sementes globalmente crescendo 2,6% durante esse per\u00edodo.<\/p>\n

E os resultados para 2022 mostram uma curva de crescimento ainda mais forte em todo o setor. \u201cGlobalmente, parece que o mercado de sementes se recuperou significativamente, crescendo 6,3%\u201d, disse Phillips. \u201cEsse crescimento foi destacado por um ganho de 5% na Am\u00e9rica do Norte e um aumento de 16,5% na Am\u00e9rica Central e do Sul.\u201d<\/p>\n

Quanto aos detalhes, na Am\u00e9rica do Norte, o crescimento do mercado de sementes foi impulsionado por pre\u00e7os mais altos de sementes, impulsionados por pre\u00e7os mais altos de safras. Em parte, a soja e o algod\u00e3o lideraram o caminho, ele acrescentou.<\/p>\n

Na Am\u00e9rica Central e do Sul, a soja e o algod\u00e3o tamb\u00e9m estimularam a melhora nas vendas de sementes, especialmente no Brasil. \u201cA melhora nas vendas veio da maior \u00e1rea de soja no Brasil e do lan\u00e7amento de novas tecnologias, como Intacta 2 Xtend e Conkesta E3\u201d, disse ele. \u201cO algod\u00e3o do Brasil tamb\u00e9m aumentou em \u00e1rea ap\u00f3s um decl\u00ednio no ano anterior.\u201d<\/p>\n

Olhando para 2023, Phillips disse que a previs\u00e3o para vendas de sementes globalmente parece ser outro aumento geral de 5,9%. Todas as regi\u00f5es do mundo est\u00e3o projetando crescimento do segmento, com exce\u00e7\u00e3o da Europa, onde os decl\u00ednios na \u00e1rea de milho e girassol devem reduzir as vendas gerais de sementes em 8% este ano. Assim como em 2022, as vendas globais de sementes devem ser mais fortes na Am\u00e9rica do Norte e Am\u00e9rica Central e do Sul, aumentando 8,5% e 13%, respectivamente.<\/p>\n

\u201cNa Am\u00e9rica do Norte, os altos pre\u00e7os de energia e os pre\u00e7os relativamente altos de commodities continuaram o aumento nos pre\u00e7os m\u00e9dios de sementes\u201d, disse Phillips. \u201cE h\u00e1 uma maior participa\u00e7\u00e3o de mercado para a soja Enlist 3.\u201d Ele acrescentou que a fornecedora da Enlist, Corteva, estima que essa soja agora responde por 55% de todo o mercado de sementes de soja.<\/p>\n

Quando tudo estiver dito e feito, Oliphant disse aos participantes do Trade Summit que a previs\u00e3o para as vendas do mercado de prote\u00e7\u00e3o de cultivos para 2023 \u00e9 de $76,8 bilh\u00f5es, uma melhoria de 2,8% em compara\u00e7\u00e3o com a temporada de cultivo de 2022.
