Em apoio a esse fato, a EBIC lan\u00e7ou um white paper intitulado: \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/biostimulants.eu\/publications\/seaweed-whitepaper-v11\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Insights recentes sobre o modo de a\u00e7\u00e3o de bioestimulantes vegetais \u00e0 base de algas marinhas<\/a>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Os membros do EBIC t\u00eam relatado repetidamente ao longo dos anos que algumas autoridades regulat\u00f3rias estavam contestando seus dossi\u00eas para colocar produtos bioestimulantes vegetais contendo extratos de algas marinhas no mercado porque acreditavam que o produto conteria horm\u00f4nios vegetais, que s\u00e3o regulamentados como produtos de prote\u00e7\u00e3o vegetal em muitas jurisdi\u00e7\u00f5es. Para esse fim, o EBIC decidiu escrever um white paper revisando a ci\u00eancia sobre esse t\u00f3pico que nossos membros poderiam consultar ao enfrentar esse equ\u00edvoco. O artigo foi desenvolvido pela Rede de Especialistas em Algas Marinhas do EBIC, integrada por representantes das seguintes empresas: Acadian Plant Health, Alfarin, Arysta LifeScience, BioAtlantis, Brandon Bioscience, Daymsa, Groupe Roullier, ICL Group, Ilex EnviroSciences, Olmix, Rovensa Next, Valagro e Yara International.<\/p>\n<p>O artigo, que passou a ser destaque na NewAG International, explica o entendimento atual de como bioestimulantes \u00e0 base de algas marinhas agem nas plantas. Ap\u00f3s uma extensa revis\u00e3o da literatura, o EBIC concluiu que biomol\u00e9culas naturalmente presentes em extratos de algas marinhas, como carboidratos e polifen\u00f3is, modulam a express\u00e3o gen\u00e9tica e induzem mudan\u00e7as metab\u00f3licas em plantas que levam aos efeitos bioestimulantes observados. Desafiar o entendimento atual pode promover a inova\u00e7\u00e3o e desbloquear novas solu\u00e7\u00f5es para desafios globais. Al\u00e9m de evitar equ\u00edvocos de autoridades regulat\u00f3rias em todo o mundo, o objetivo deste white paper \u00e9 estimular mais pesquisas sobre o modo de a\u00e7\u00e3o de bioestimulantes vegetais, particularmente aqueles que cont\u00eam extratos de algas marinhas.
