Em 27 de dezembro, o BMEL da Alemanha publicou regulamentos de emerg\u00eancia sobre o glifosato, que suspendem a proibi\u00e7\u00e3o total do glifosato e regulamentam as restri\u00e7\u00f5es existentes ao seu uso, de acordo com EQU\u00cdMICA<\/a>. A Lei entrar\u00e1 em vigor em 1\u00ba de janeiro de 2024 e permanecer\u00e1 em vigor por seis meses at\u00e9 30 de junho de 2024, quando as restri\u00e7\u00f5es e san\u00e7\u00f5es anteriores ao uso do glifosato tamb\u00e9m expirar\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

De acordo com o Regulamento de Aplica\u00e7\u00e3o de Prote\u00e7\u00e3o Vegetal, o governo anterior em 2021 previu uma proibi\u00e7\u00e3o completa do glifosato a partir de 1\u00ba de janeiro de 2024, e uma renova\u00e7\u00e3o da aprova\u00e7\u00e3o do ingrediente ativo colocaria sua proibi\u00e7\u00e3o nacional em viola\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 lei europeia, disse o BMEL. Devido \u00e0 reaprova\u00e7\u00e3o, o ajuste \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio at\u00e9 o final do ano, no m\u00e1ximo, e a situa\u00e7\u00e3o legal s\u00f3 pode ser ajustada por decreto de emerg\u00eancia este ano para evitar o in\u00edcio de processos de infra\u00e7\u00e3o pela Comiss\u00e3o Europeia e lit\u00edgios por fabricantes e usu\u00e1rios em n\u00edvel nacional.<\/p>\n

A decis\u00e3o da Comiss\u00e3o Europeia de aprovar o uso de glifosato at\u00e9 2033 foi errada, e a decis\u00e3o n\u00e3o foi apoiada pelos votos dos pa\u00edses da UE. As leis alem\u00e3s de prote\u00e7\u00e3o de plantas devem agora ser adaptadas para permitir que os agricultores planejem com seguran\u00e7a e evitem danos \u00e0 biodiversidade. Ela continuar\u00e1 com as restri\u00e7\u00f5es atuais ao uso de glifosato, como uma proibi\u00e7\u00e3o em \u00e1reas de conserva\u00e7\u00e3o de \u00e1gua. O pr\u00f3ximo passo ser\u00e1 alterar os Regulamentos de Aplica\u00e7\u00e3o de Prote\u00e7\u00e3o de Plantas de acordo com o acordo do Governo de Coaliz\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

Em 28 de novembro de 2023, o Uni\u00e3o Europeia publicou uma extens\u00e3o de 10 anos<\/a> do regulamento para o glifosato, estendendo o per\u00edodo de aprova\u00e7\u00e3o do ingrediente ativo em toda a UE at\u00e9 15 de dezembro de 2033.
