Em sua apresenta\u00e7\u00e3o intitulada <em>Galaxy, uma plataforma de imagens de alto conte\u00fado que permite a descoberta de novos herbicidas<\/em>O Dr. Jacq forneceu uma vis\u00e3o geral do inovador e sistem\u00e1tico mecanismo de descoberta de herbicidas em larga escala da Moa, que est\u00e1 encontrando novas classes de MOAs com atividade herbicida \u00fanica e potencialmente poderosa uma ordem de magnitude mais r\u00e1pido do que os m\u00e9todos tradicionais.<\/p>\n<p>Ervas daninhas resistentes a herbicidas amea\u00e7am a seguran\u00e7a alimentar e a produtividade agr\u00edcola, e s\u00e3o um grande problema para um n\u00famero crescente de agricultores em todo o mundo. Em apenas dois anos, a Moa identificou mais de 60 novas \u00e1reas MOA e caracterizou seu desempenho contra pain\u00e9is de ervas daninhas e culturas em suas instala\u00e7\u00f5es de estufa.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Jacq diz: \u201cHouve apenas um herbicida com um novo MOA introduzido no mercado nos \u00faltimos 35 anos, e nenhum para muitas das grandes culturas de que o mundo depende.
