Financiado pela Innovate UK, o Biofilme Biofertilizante<\/em> O projeto re\u00fane um cons\u00f3rcio de l\u00edderes cient\u00edficos e industriais para desenvolver um biofertilizante pioneiro \u00e0 base de biofilme, oferecendo uma alternativa escal\u00e1vel, de baixo custo e ambientalmente respons\u00e1vel aos fertilizantes qu\u00edmicos. Esta inova\u00e7\u00e3o desenvolvida no Reino Unido est\u00e1 prestes a ganhar relev\u00e2ncia global, \u00e0 medida que a agricultura busca solu\u00e7\u00f5es regenerativas e de alto impacto para alimentar uma popula\u00e7\u00e3o crescente sem destruir os ecossistemas naturais.<\/p>\n

Ao alavancar um novo cons\u00f3rcio de bact\u00e9rias promotoras do crescimento de plantas (PGPB) formadoras de biofilme nativas do Reino Unido, o biofertilizante foi projetado para reduzir o uso de fertilizantes sint\u00e9ticos em 40\u201350%, ao mesmo tempo em que melhora a absor\u00e7\u00e3o de nutrientes, a estrutura do solo e a produtividade das colheitas em 20\u201330%.<\/p>\n

Testes de campo de tr\u00eas anos avaliar\u00e3o o desempenho do produto em trigo, batata, morango e plantas ornamentais em diversas fazendas do Reino Unido. Espera-se que os resultados forne\u00e7am um modelo para ado\u00e7\u00e3o internacional em diversos tipos de solo e culturas.<\/p>\n
