Esta autoriza\u00e7\u00e3o de 120 dias fornece aos produtores portugueses acesso a um novo modo de a\u00e7\u00e3o para combater uma praga cr\u00edtica que amea\u00e7a a produ\u00e7\u00e3o significativa de tomate do pa\u00eds, especialmente diante da crescente resist\u00eancia aos inseticidas tradicionais.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"pf0\"><span class=\"cf0\">Vestaron<\/span><span class=\"cf0\"> est\u00e1 fazendo parceria com <\/span><span class=\"cf0\">Lainco<\/span><span class=\"cf0\">, uma empresa espanhola com uma rica hist\u00f3ria de 90 anos de especializa\u00e7\u00e3o no desenvolvimento, fabrica\u00e7\u00e3o e comercializa\u00e7\u00e3o de agroqu\u00edmicos em toda a Europa. A expertise t\u00e9cnica e regulat\u00f3ria da LAINCO, aliada ao profundo conhecimento do mercado local, ser\u00e1 fundamental para maximizar o impacto desta solu\u00e7\u00e3o inovadora no mercado portugu\u00eas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"pf0\"><span class=\"cf0\">Desde a sua primeira apari\u00e7\u00e3o nas regi\u00f5es do Algarve e da Madeira, em Portugal, em 2009, o tomate <\/span><span class=\"cf0\">minador de folhas<\/span><span class=\"cf0\"> se espalhou pelas \u00e1reas de cultivo de tomate do pa\u00eds, impactando tanto o tomate industrial quanto o de consumo in natura. Em 2023, Portugal cultivou aproximadamente 18.440 hectares de tomate, com uma produ\u00e7\u00e3o de 1,8 milh\u00e3o de <\/span><span class=\"cf0\">toneladas<\/span><span class=\"cf0\">, tornando-se um dos principais produtores de tomate da UE, depois da It\u00e1lia e da Espanha. No entanto, desafios como a escassez de \u00e1gua e o tomate tardio <\/span><span class=\"cf0\">minador de folhas<\/span><span class=\"cf0\"> Os ataques resultaram apenas em rendimentos m\u00e9dios no ano passado. O grupo de produtores portugu\u00eas Centro <\/span><span class=\"cf0\">Operativo<\/span> <span class=\"cf0\">Tecnol\u00f3gico<\/span> <span class=\"cf0\">Hortofrut\u00edcola<\/span><span class=\"cf0\"> Nacional (COTHN), que solicitou \u00e0 Dire\u00e7\u00e3o Geral de Alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o e Veterin\u00e1ria a autoriza\u00e7\u00e3o de emerg\u00eancia, disse estar satisfeito que a autoriza\u00e7\u00e3o tempor\u00e1ria fornecer\u00e1 aos seus membros uma nova ferramenta para o controlo eficaz e sustent\u00e1vel do tomate <\/span><span class=\"cf0\">minador de folhas<\/span><span class=\"cf0\"> infesta\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"pf0\"><span class=\"cf0\">Inicialmente controlado com inseticidas diam\u00eddicos, o tomateiro <\/span><span class=\"cf0\">minador de folhas<\/span><span class=\"cf0\"> desenvolveu resist\u00eancia, necessitando de uma abordagem estrat\u00e9gica de manejo integrado de pragas (MIP). O SPEAR LEP \u00e9 um produto biol\u00f3gico derivado de pept\u00eddeos naturais encontrados no veneno de aranha e produzido por fermenta\u00e7\u00e3o natural. Comprovado em mais de 400 mil hectares, o SPEAR LEP oferece controle preciso e direcionado de pragas de lepid\u00f3pteros, incluindo o tomateiro. <\/span><span class=\"cf0\">minador de folhas<\/span><span class=\"cf0\">, sem resist\u00eancia conhecida ou resist\u00eancia cruzada a pesticidas sint\u00e9ticos, tornando-o um componente essencial de programas de resist\u00eancia e manejo integrado de pragas.
