Atualmente, a tecnologia agr\u00edcola representa cerca de 2,51 TP3T de todos os neg\u00f3cios de capital de risco e apenas 1,641 TP3T do total de d\u00f3lares de capital de risco. Para cada sa\u00edda, h\u00e1 cerca de 14 investimentos, o que demonstra a dificuldade do cen\u00e1rio.<\/p>\n<p>Somente no segundo trimestre, 149 startups de tecnologia agr\u00edcola levantaram cerca de $1,55 bilh\u00e3o \u2014 mas isso representa uma queda de 16% em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao primeiro trimestre de 2025 e uma queda de 20% no n\u00famero de neg\u00f3cios. Houve 11 sa\u00eddas, principalmente por meio de aquisi\u00e7\u00f5es, ent\u00e3o, embora ainda haja atividade, estamos vendo mais cautela no mercado.<\/p>\n<p>H\u00e1 uma clara mudan\u00e7a em dire\u00e7\u00e3o a neg\u00f3cios menores, aquisi\u00e7\u00f5es complementares, joint ventures e colabora\u00e7\u00f5es entre grandes e pequenos players. Empresas maiores querem se afastar de modelos de baixa margem e fortemente baseados em commodities \u2014 especialmente em fertilizantes e produtos qu\u00edmicos \u2014 e buscam diversificar por meio da tecnologia.<\/p>\n<p>Dito isso, a press\u00e3o sobre as startups se intensificou. Os investidores agora esperam lucratividade mais cedo, o que \u00e9 um grande desafio na agricultura, onde a ado\u00e7\u00e3o de tecnologia leva tempo. H\u00e1 mais demanda por disciplina financeira, e os VCs \u2014 especialmente os estrat\u00e9gicos \u2014 s\u00e3o avessos ao risco. Eles preferem investir quando h\u00e1 evid\u00eancias de lucratividade, forte capital de giro e ado\u00e7\u00e3o comprovada na fazenda.<\/p>\n<p>Quanto \u00e0 agricultura regenerativa, o interesse est\u00e1 crescendo, mas a economia impulsiona o comportamento do agricultor. Lucro e produtividade continuam sendo as principais prioridades, seguidos pela redu\u00e7\u00e3o de custos. Se uma solu\u00e7\u00e3o regenerativa oferecer esses benef\u00edcios, os agricultores a adotar\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>Um bom exemplo foi quando implementamos a tecnologia de conectividade na Terranova Farms, na Calif\u00f3rnia. Esse projeto economizou $65.000 por ano e reduziu o consumo de \u00e1gua em 30% \u2014 atingindo claramente os tr\u00eas objetivos: rendimento, efici\u00eancia de custos e sustentabilidade.<\/p>\n<p>Em resumo, o investimento n\u00e3o estagnou completamente \u2014 ainda h\u00e1 capital dispon\u00edvel \u2014, mas est\u00e1 mais seletivo e o n\u00edvel de sucesso \u00e9 mais alto.
