Mas v\u00e1rios fatores de curto prazo criaram um ambiente de pre\u00e7os inflacionados e lucros maiores que dificilmente se repetir\u00e3o neste ano.<\/p>\n<p>Entre os fatores que impulsionaram as vendas no ano passado estavam a maior demanda por biocombust\u00edveis, pre\u00e7os mais altos de gr\u00e3os que incentivaram os produtores a investir em mais prote\u00e7\u00e3o de cultivos, maiores \u00e1reas de cultivo na Am\u00e9rica Latina, mais soja nos EUA e menor produ\u00e7\u00e3o da China que reduziu o fornecimento global de agroqu\u00edmicos.<\/p>\n<p>O aumento mais not\u00e1vel no valor da prote\u00e7\u00e3o de cultivos foi no Brasil, que aumentou mais de 51%, disse o s\u00f3cio da Phillips McDougall, Matthew Phillips, aos participantes na ter\u00e7a-feira no CAC.
