South Korea Approves Imports Of GM Soy

Checkbiotech.org reports that Roundup Ready 2 Yield soybeans have been allowed full market
access in South Korea following a two-year process. LibertyLink soybeans — which are
already approved for food, feed, and cultivation in the US and Canada and approved for
import into Australia, China, the EU, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Philippines, Russia,
South Africa, and Taiwan — still must complete a final step before receiving full approval
by the Korean Food and Drug Administration.
